- Here are the details of multiple sources I ordered the assembled hmt watches. I am just sharing my experience, please do your own diligence before making any payment.
Source 1: Mr Vimal Sharma, Bikaner, Rajasthan, Whatsapp No +91 90790 54201
Mr Sharma is a respected watch assembler and my experience with him was great. He transparently shares the dials that are available at a point of time so that one can choose. Depending on quality of dial, the complete watch without strap will cost you anywhere between 1100 to 1500. If you want to buy straps then options starts at 100. And you can either ask him to send your order through Speed Post or private courier and depending on your choice the shipping, cost will be between 100 - 200. Please note that Mr Sharma does not provide any warranty promise and you can either get your after sale service done from local watch mechanic or you can send the watch through courier to Mr Sharma for service when needed.
Source 2: Mr Anthons from Chennai Tamilnadu, Whatsapp no +91 72000 00639
Mr Anthons has limited stock, but he offers watches at very low price, I have placed order for a orange sunburst Kohinoor which costed 960 including shipping through Speed Post. I have received the watch and its very good. Again no warranty support promised here as well.
Source 3: Divine Watch on Instagram, Mumbai, Whatsapp no +91 91482 60359
They are charging 3800 for most of their watches including shipping and they are providing 6 months warranty support too. Price is no doubt on higher side, however you have lot of dial colour option to chose from. You need to pay 50% while placing the order, they will usually take about 20 days to get the watch ready and before shipping they will ask for the remaining amount. I have experienced quality control issues on their watches as one Janata came with cracked dial - but they are very responsive on after sales support and they replaced my watch and took care of shipping cost as well. I suggest you only go for this option if you are not getting a particular colour or model from elsewhere as 3800 is very high for assembled watch.

Bhai ekdum sahi bola aapne, aftermarket watches leke khush raho.
However if you want OG watch then some HMT automatics (like Kedar) are also available around 7K mark, better option is to buy those watches.

Great video, now that curve near the lugs is quite debatable, I have seen original kohinoors both with curve and without curve, for the price doesnt matter anyway.

Thank you bhai for your opinion - you know that I value your opinion a lot. In fact, another kohinoor with white dial that I restored - has the same flat edge near the lug and its not that uncommon.
Another great video. I have also picked up One Kohinoor from Vimal Sharmaji as well (will try and make video soon). And my experience was fantastic. Watch looks amazing and so far giving me the best power reserve too (over 40 hours !).
For now I think this is the best option for getting an HMT for people who don't want used old watches that need some work. I love doing that so I have picked up old watches and currently getting one serviced.
And also I totally agree with you in regards to the over inflated prices of watches sold on FB by flippers trying to make a quick buck. Any more thatn 3-4k is not worth it in my opinion.
I am thinking of getting a nice Pilot model from Vimal Sharmaji as well, depending on stock of course.

Absolutely correct, I did not inform him that my purchase was part of a project so that I can understand the usual quality. Packing, pricing, assembly - everything was spot on considering the price. I took his permission to use his name and contact details in my project outcome video and he consented. And now, he called me today morning to say thanks for mentioning his business in my video / research. He said that since the video was published, the number of enquiry has significantly increased.
Honest and good people like him deserves little more publicity to get motivation.
Its simple, wear what you like and what solves your itch.. there are watch snobs all around especially when it comes to certain brands (Not only HMTs)
The price hike doesnt bring anything new in terms of specs. they are just cashing in on the last few mechanical piece.
As said, hmt is the new hublot(or the Indian Hublot)

I Also bought 2 "Kohis" from Sharmaji. Its been great experience. Also one AM Pilot from another FB group listing and it also working superbly. So after spending like 6k for so called OG HMT I understood better stick to budget options than falling for FOMO.

I had aslo purchased one HMT Kohinoor from my local shop in Ranchi, Jharkhand (it was used to be a HMT Authorised Agent in past), I bought a white sunburst dial HMT Kohinoor @2000/- in a fantastic condition it's like old new stock and I am sure it's an original watch because it was completely new with all original dial (no aftermarket) and movement is also new, not refurbished, I checked it by opening the case back. So, I always recommend eveybody to visit old local watch shops and be frank in asking about HMT they will definitely help, otherwise the source mentioned in the description is a great option for many.

Last week I also bought one assembled mechanical hmt with Sandeep dial and kohinoor case, all original as I was the one who chose the parts from multiple old kohinoors and it cost me only 650 rupees from a watchmaker in my hometown
You did one of the smartest thing which will get diaapproved by the admins of FB groups who are making money through flippers, but who cares. We understand the truth 😊.

Sir - its a vintage styled genuine leather strap which I got with my silver janata from Divine Watch House. The quality of the strap is very good. By the way - my next project is on leather straps and I have started procuring straps from various sources and I will create similar video like this.

Mostly used movement restored and used case polished. But its hard to generalise as there are brand new mods are also available where both case and dials are brand new. Movements are all old refurbished.

All these watchea are in perfect condition. While you can definately order from Mr Anthons, I found options are more with Mr Vimal Sharma. But both are using mass produced dials and it will not be equivalent interma of dial finishing that you will get from Mr Gautam Haryani or Divine Watch House.

After market watch is good or bad quality and does it last long like other hmt watches?
Movement is hmt made, if you buy quality case and dial then it's actually better then the ones sold from official website.
Divine watches are too expensive and are simply not worth it...I can purchase 3-4 good HMT watches in that single price...Just my personal opinion.
Once you experience the lumed pilot in person and compare with other options, your conclusion might change, like it happened to me.

যদি এটা আপনার প্রথম hmt হয়, তাহলে Vimal ji থেকে নিতে পারেন। কিছুটা এক্সপেরিয়েন্স হবে আর দামও কম পড়বে। তবে ভালো ডায়াল আর ভালো কোয়ালিটির কেস চাইলে Gautam Haryani অথবা Divine Watch House থেকে নেওয়া ভালো। তবে প্রথম hmt হলে সস্তা নেবেন।
