Really good young black actor who had a lot of potential and was going to rise but ended up hurting his career wilding out. Sad. And now it's happened again with Jonathan Majors.
The movie wasn’t considered a success. And the whole project regarding the rock n roll hall of fame, wasn’t looked upon as a success. The film and box office numbers shows very clear…..that it was 100% a very good success.

@@TheFreshSoundsFlorida that’s how it be. He got invited to an “all men” “party/dinner” and met Tom Hanks who was familiar with his work that early in his career? Come on lol.
I thought it was fun as a Hollywood biopic melding real-life events with fantasy. The actors all did a good job and it was well-directed. However, I felt the movie felt way too "sugar-coated". They totally glossed over Dr. Dre's violence towards women (another reason why biopics shouldn't have their subjects exec. producing), their ugly misogyny and how the group members were far from perfect. Also, while I understand focusing most of the movie on the trio of Eazy, Cube and Dre, why were MC Ren and Yella background supporting characters? And Arabian Prince wasn't even mentioned! It was fun for what it was, but I feel making it an HBO tv series would've worked better for this story.
