  • Hey guys! Today I am testing cleaning products from Aldi! I have 11 Aldi cleaners going up against their name brand equivalents. Some of these were mind blowing, some were ok, and some are a definite no (in my opinion). I hope you guys enjoy this one and, as always, thank you for watching, liking, and subscribing!

    This was terrific! Over the many years that I’ve maintained a home, I found that name brand cleaning supplies always do a far better job than store or generic brands. Thank you for taking the time to do these comparisons. I’ll be trying your recommendations!

    Fun video! Thanks for putting this together! I love Aldi but I typically purchase Walmart brand cleaning products because they are inexpensive and they all seem to work very well!

    I had that problem with the stain on the inside rim of the toilet seat for the longest time until I got a tip about toilet scrubbing PUMICE STONES. They are in Walmart sold in the same area as toilet bowl cleaners and they work fantastically! I thought I was going to have that stain until I bought a new toilet seat but scrubbing with those pumice stones made it look like a brand new toilet seat and I was AMAZED. It seems like it would scratch the porcelain or the paint but it does NOT. You wet the pumice stone a little before you start scrubbing and as you scrub the pumice stone will erode and it is meant to do that. It will make a little paste out of itself when you are scrubbing that you just wipe away afterwards. If you haven't tried these pumice stones definitely give them a try. You most likely will be rid of that stain forever. 😀

      I have a pumice stone but I’ve only ever used it inside the toilet. I’ll try that, thank you. 😊

    I've been using the garbage bags for years and never have any problems with them....and my garbage bag is always super full, no lie! So for the money saved, I will stick with Aldi. The toilet bowl cleaner also works super great. They have some really good products and are very affordable. I would recommend them based on my own personal use. That being said, fun video!

    I don’t have strong feelings about paper towels but Sparkle wasn’t perforated well, so the sheets always tore badly. We like the Sam’s club towels. I haven’t tested other brands other than Sparkle and a dollar store roll. I don’t know if I am missing out.🤷🏻‍♀️

    I enjoyed this one! With trash bags, you have to compare the mil thickness. That's how I buy store brands. A regular black hefty bag is 1mil thick. And I love Pampered Chef too!

    Another multi purpose cleaner you might want to try is Clorox Fraganzia. Dollar Tree has it sometimes. Amazon has it. I bought a gallon because I mop three or four times a day to keep the floors clean around our parrots cages. I think Fraganzia smells really nice, and I think it does a good job over all. I am no expert, but it’s just my opinion for the nothing it’s worth😆.

    This is interesting. Aldi is a German supermarket so I assumed the products you were testing would be the same as we buy in the UK. Not one of them has the same name, so I have no idea if they have the same ingredients as the European version. Thanks for another fascinating video.

I will always use name brand if it saves me cleaning time work smarter not harder, but I do use alot of stuff from the dollar tree. I'm a fan of cloralen/pinalen and you can get those at dollar general also.

    Great video! Maybe those Aldi dusters would come in handy in your vehicles to dust the dashboard. Also, when our dishwasher was installed, the technician who installed it said to use a rinse aid, as it helps the heated drying cycle to work better. I’ve found that to be very accurate. When I run out of rinse aid in the dispenser, it’s very obvious because my dishes will be wet! I do enjoy the product videos you show us!

    • @RachPlusFive
      @RachPlusFive  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! I do actually use rinse aid. The drying issue is much worse without it. I am going to keep one set of those dusters in the house and one in the car. My teenager is driving now and is becoming obsessed with cleaning the car so it will help him. 😊
