Hello Trad man! I’ve had my own business doing windows for 35 years (mainly in San Francisco) and within the last year I’ve watched several videos from you Bob Steve-O and Luke and enjoyed a lot. I have always worked with the thought of how can I be quicker and better and have never changed that train of thought. I have bought several liquidators ect. and have been truly amazed at how much less work and thought process is needed. Yes there is a shifting in how to use new equipment, however, for those who wish to go through the process of retraining their brains it’s worth it. This is not a judgment. To each his own. At the end of the day if you feel good about your work and you’re satisfied that’s what counts. I’ve Appreciated the way that you break things down and your a good teacher and reviewer. Thank you it’s much appreciated. This is the very first comment I’ve ever made on RUclips however your passion for assisting others deserved to be recognized (as well as you other owners) and I did subscribe. 👍🏻👏🏻
Thank you for your awesome comments! I'm really happy you've benefited from the videos 😊 I enjoy helping people learn new things and also learning myself from others. Thank you for taking the time out to watch the videos and to comment, its honestly really appreciated and if there's anything I can help with just drop me a message 🙂
Thanks Trad Man you always do great videos and have helped me out. All these tips add up to quicker better results and more money in my families pocket.
Do you think they had zero detailers in the 1940’s or 50’s? Maybe they just didn’t wipe their edges. Wonder where window cleaning will be in 50 years if we survive that long, made one last night , works great, thanks Mr.Tradman,
Hi, Thanks for the great vids and this tip too !! 👍. I'm going to try to make a 6" and an 8" from a 12" channel, so I'll order an extra set of end clips from Moerman, when I order the 10" Liquidator 2.
I wonder why they don't make a 6" or 16"? You'd think a company like Moerman would save us all the hassle when we're busy on the glass and just produce them. Anyway, great video Peter as always. If I get round to it, I will use this vid as my guide as I would find a 6" very useful.
Yeah I'm not sure why they don't make a small squeegee kit, like a 6 inch applicator and squeegee, would of been handy if they did. I'm guessing they may think there's not enough demand for it. Thanks for watching matey!
@@TradMan The strange thing is that anyone using zero detailing squeegees is surely going to want one for those annoying compartment type windows were the 10" won't manoeuvre so well. I would have thought it was a no brainer; let's hope moerman are reading these comments! All the best mate, keep up the good work and stay safe on that ladder!
I have suggested to them to design a small window cleaning kit with small applicator and squeegee but they would have to make a smaller plate for the handle, due to the restricted space between the clips. Hope your keeping well 👍👍👊
I've never used a 6in squeegee before. I usually just use purified water in a spray bottle and a microfibre cloth for tiny windows. Good wee tip though.....✌
Seems window cleaning is the only profession that gets people to buy products that have to be modified why is this acceptable? Please understand I'm not trying to be negative or disrespectful I love my moreman squeegee still have my original channel from many moons ago and still use it well modified with paper clips when in a pinch so just gets old playing McGuiver from back of company vehicle to make something like this bc the customer has 500 french pane windows that my 10" liquidator just pisses me off looking foolish trying to get my tools to work for me. Smh Thanks for the info so I'm not destroying my equipment trying to figure something out....
⭐⭐ WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE SMALL SQUEEGEE? COMMENT BELOW ⬇️⬇️ ⭐⭐
Trad - Man 6” pulex channel with an ettore eze handle. 😊
👍👍🔔 thanks
By God, if Moerman haven't listened and made a 6inch for sale The awesome power of your influence. Use it carefully..
I don't think it was anything to do with me to be honest. Probably Just had enough demand to proceed with the project.
😊👍🏻

Thank you for sharing. Cant wait to try this out!
You can now buy a 6 inch moerman channel. They finally made one
What type of channel do I need to buy? Does it need to be a liquidator channel or any channel and buy liquidator blue clips?
The Liquidator Channels have small grooves that the blue clips click into
@@TradMan thanks.

That's awesome! That's exactly why i like making the videos, to help folks out and hopefully make there work a little easier and more profitable 👍👍🤑
Brilliant idea.
Do you know the width of the handle after it's been cut down?
Most likely 2 inches.
If I was a squeegee making company I would make a size available in EVERY INCH. More buying potential! Happier customers!
I’ve also made this but using the unger ErgoTec handle, it’s a very handy tool to add to your collection. Great Vid thanks.
Awesome, that's a good handle too!
Thank you for watching the vids, much appreciated
Moerman should be paying YOU for this design😉.
Lol, maybe one day they will make this but until then this will have to do ;)
How

yoyo895 When I did use moerman, I emailed them about the 6”. They said there is no market for it.

I love the wee squeegee, so handy for small windows and it means i don't need to use a cloth on the glass
It's good for cut ups that are slightly lifted off the glass, much less drips.
Can u make someone for me? i buy it direcly from you :)
