It's good that in the sense you can just ignore the event. And since there is a constant stream of events it's better that way. The Russian doom cannon was unique in its gun at least.

After slaving for the 292 i don’t think i need to go through that torment again and seeing that gaijin would rather laugh then give britain competitive vehicles to have a decent lineup i can wait.
Main problem is, if it was 10.3 it would face many 9.3 since 9.3 is almost always a full up tier.
I mean they could have just gave it magic 1s and kept it at a usable BR of 10.3
How about aim 9g or magic 1 and 10.7 then in fits the tech tree "balance"@@DawgIVLife
You mean like the A10 and SU25, this aircraft handles so poorly the speed difference is negligible, I don’t think it’d be anymore broken than either of these two aircraft in any way, shape or form.
For me, who is level 11, it will be a good trophy, I only have level 3 German tanks and aircraft, I only have 6 medals left. ✈️
Personally I think it will complement the challenger 2 nicely like the Gr.1a did before the tornado and harrier Gr.7
they removed one of the cannons to have a more practical placement the Tpod
honestly i only want it bc its a british plane (which i need, plus same br as the squad plane im researching) and it has guided bombs (which I love and have always wished to have)
the IS has slightly better engines than the other Jaguars
this is just fine at 11.0. you get 2 magic 2 missiles which are all aspect and have good irccm. also look at the su-25 bm which is same br but worse in every way except payload and r-73. this is just fine at 11.0 but 10.7 would be nice but is not needed.
I have the Tech tree Jaguars for the Brits and I have to say, this one has 3 laser bombs is the only good point. Because I would always prefer the long range Aim9 over a short range Magic in a jet that can't really dogfight. So even if I had it, I would not use it because up where it is, there is the Tornado and the Harrier Gr. 7, so there is no point in using it ever.
I will use it as I ain't completed british top tier yet so it's a stand in till I complete it
It will be nice to use for Ground RB
With what lineup?
@@VMUDreamif it does get moved up, base challenger 2, if it gets moved back down, Vickers mk7 and challenger mk3
I mean, it does get better engines. But I will get it, but just because I like collecting things, however i have to actually grind it because I use console so I cant just buy it later.

Should’ve been 10.7 you don’t get the 9.3 uptiered vehicles but you can still fight 10.3s. 11.0 for 2 magics is insane
You say that but its still a top 3 best IR missile.
The harriers are 11.7 with only 4 of these good IR missile.
Kfir c2 is also 11.0 with only 2x Python. Mirage f1 is 11.3 with 2x magic 2 and 3x other garbage missiles.
Su25bm is also 11.0, much worse plane with slightly better missiles (with no HMD, the r73 isnt that great).
10.7 is too low for magic 2’s, even if it only has 2x of them. Also remember it does get better engines, so its not just a GR1 with magic 2’s slapped on it.
This thing would get slaughtered at 11.0 and up

It’s nice of gaijin to give us an extended break until the naval event.
Why are people complaining about the last event grind being awful? It was way too easy, you had 2 full days to complete the mark of distinction, and I would get it in a couple of hours.

War Thunder has gotten so lazy, Its a copy and paste circus. Lets see that last few additions for events and prems, Centauro RGO, Swedish Strv 121B, Mirage 2000, Germ Tornado, Chally OES (to go with the other 4 already in game), T-80 with a slightly different gun, yet another M1 that is literally is a "click bait", and a Frankenstein Sheridan. Go further back in additions and its been obvious that if its not Russian then it will be a skin or a detuned tree vehicle at best.
Man I just wish event vehicles were fun like they were way back then and not copy paste 🫤
