      I honestly love my 2018 frontier. So far it’s been the most reliable I’ve owned with 132,000 thousand miles on it. The mechanical issue I’ve had is the alternator going out. Overall great trucks nothing fancy just very basic with a back up camera. I only wish the back seats had more room.

      @inunez7271 4 дня назад +4

      @ The transmission has been great so far no issues at all. To be honest I was worried about the transmission because the stuff I’ve heard. I have a v6 not the flex fuel. I’m still getting the same mpg as a full size truck. 16 in the city maybe 21 on highway. I know this may sound kind of dumb but to me it reminds me of an old pick up like the ones my uncle’s used to have. It’s really easy to grab things from bed. I’m not having to step on my tire or climb in to reach anything. If I can’t grab what I’m wanting from one side all I need to do is walk around. It’s not all that quite on the highway. It’s gets the job done on just about every thing I need to do.

    • @LancelotLinkSecretChimp
      @LancelotLinkSecretChimp 4 дня назад +2

      @@inunez7271 Thanks for the honest response. Being able to grab stuff out of a bed is important to me too. I know people who have had that V6 in their pathfinder and they said the MPG wasn't good but it sounds like a decent truck compared to the overengineered trucks they're selling today. Glad your transmission is doing good.

    • @inunez7271
      @inunez7271 4 дня назад +2

      @ you’re welcome; I’m only 30 years old. I agree trucks are not trucks anymore. They have way too many computers and components. I would love to get another full size tuck or 2500. The prices are ridiculous. Just to get the things I want I need to upgrade packages which just means more money no thank you. I’m happy with towing hitch, a reverse camera of course Bluetooth radio just because it’s easier to answer phone calls. Thats all I really need. Side note if you do have kids that are still in car seats or teens there’s not be enough leg space. Especially with car seats. Overall the only complaint i really have is that I wish the back seats had more space. Think about it like the back seats of a frontier crew cab is the same as a Ram 1500 quad cab.

  • @RW_CreativeMedia
    @RW_CreativeMedia 4 дня назад +5

    What many people don't understand is that these prices are paid in cash. If you take out a bank loan to pay for a vehicle, you must add 50% to 60% more to the total payment of the vehicle, so if you buy a vehicle for $60,000, in monthly installments you end up paying about $90,000 to $100,000 and the annual interest doesn't keep steady, it's keeps creeping up, so it becomes an impossible debt to pay.

    • @williamjones7821
      @williamjones7821 2 дня назад

      And some states base the license plate fees on the "official sticker price" for your make, model and year (minus depreciation). I wouldn't be surprised if these are $3K+ in fees each year, for the first few years. Indiana charges me next to nothing, since my 20+ year old Saturns (DMV says the MSRP was like $13,755 back in the day) have now depreciated to practically nothing.

    • @toddprater14
      @toddprater14 2 дня назад

His has the Hemi, 6.2L. and the wood is real, and the leather rivals anything the Europeans have, possibly better. Enjoy your videos. We bought a new 2023 BMW X5 after testing driving the X5 and X5M( I was a Jeep Grand Cherokee fan, by the way, but not with their price) . Since I'm not going to drag race the SUV and drive 120+ on the surface road every day, the X5 has enough luxury and speed I will ever need. We also bought extended mechanic, service warranty, and tire coverage. It all brings the out-the-door price to around 74K with discounts. There were some heavy road reconstructions around our neighborhood for over a year and half. We ran over so much shit we changed every tire at least once at different times because the holes and cuts were so bad they could not be patched. I also ran over a crowbar once and damaged a rear wheel and fender cover that had to be replaced. All the cost was "0". Just replace a rear wheel and tire already paid for the extended warranty. Every time we buy a new or used car, we always purchase a transferable extended warranty to cover the life of the vehicle. That could be something you can talk about in your video.

The problem is when someone wants to test drive, you have to jump it. When jumping a Hornet R/T, you have to charge the battery for 2 hours and then program the modules. Just checked out a Grand Wagoneer on Jeep Canada to see the insane price. They are offering an $11,000 discount but it only applies if you finance it over 84 or 96 months at 5.49% interest. Doing the math and financing it at 72 months without their discount but a higher price for the jeep, you still save money. What crooks.

    I'm a Toyota/Lexus person all the way through myself. Around 20-25 years ago or so I had strong leanings towards BMW and Mercedes when it came to what a luxury vehicle is and should be. They are both nice brands but just not my cup of tea anymore. As I discovered Toyota and Lexus since that time.. and I know those brands are not everyone else's cup of tea either so please spare me.
    With that said I look at these Jeeps, the Grand Wagoneer more specifically and its hefty price tag. There is really no way I would ever consider that option up next to a comparable Lexus with a $70-80k pricetag on it. I certainly wouldn't go after a Lexus with $120k price tag like the Jeep option even if I was flush with cash, it just would never happen.
    I have had a brand new vehicle before and will never go that route again because of the high prices and the instant depreciation. I am perfectly comfortable and satisfied with a gently used, certified pre owned Toyota/Lexus around $30k or under.
    These cars/trucks across the board these days are just not all they are cracked up to be anymore in my opinion as most brands have really gone down the tubes (including some of Toyota/Lexus) these last 3 to 5 years or so. I just want quality, a decent looking and reliable ride, nothing overly glammed up or flashy as I really have nothing to prove to anybody. The car is not an extension of my worthiness as a person on this planet.. if that is you then so be it. I'd go back to a car from the 60's, 70's, 80's if it was in good shape.
