Amazing. Beautiful. Fantastic. We played this at my Great Uncle's funeral - his last words were 'Ah well, who wants to keep on living forever anyway? I'd just get older...'
I love this version than the original Queen version. Don't get me wrong I love queen but this one is the perfect cover song of who wants to live forever.
Wow went to theatre yesterday and saw it for first time, this is a cracking version of this track, brought tears to my eyes watching, it brought back the joy of watching it.
I saw this three times in Toronto with my mom. She died about a year and a half ago and this was her favourite song in this play and he favourite Queen song. Watching this isn't the same without her. This was always my favourite somg to sing and now I sing it in her memory.
i saw this in toronto 4 years ago and i want to see it again SO BADDDDD!!!! i wish there was a dvd :( ive seen over 10 plays and this is my ultimate favourite of all time!!!
@WolveLoverTienemien because they both sing with emotion, they are both really feeling the feelings that fit the song perfectly so it comes to your ears and kicks you in the face, makes your jaw drop and you hart stop beating for just a few seconds. THIS IS SINGING AS IT SHOULD BE
I was in London at Christmas and I saw it. When I left I was depressed because I didn't want to leave that amazing city and because I knew I will probably never see it again...
i love hannah's lips when she sings. it's so amusing watching them. And I love tony at the very end; in the cast recording he just sings "who waits forever anyway" just offhanded, but here he just barely says "anyway" and it's a very poignant moment.
Yeahh his voice is incredible i saw WWRY live in Toronto but weren't the same cast from london... and the guy (galileo) didn't sing as well as this galileo... anyway was one of the best shows i ever saw!
yeh utterly amazing scaramouche in particular! when she first did her big note on sombody to love me and my friend just looked at each other with our mouths open!!! =P
I thought this was amazing - until I saw the Canadian Cast ------> Erica Peck & Yvan Pedneault are REDICULOUSLY amazing..... they blow the London cast out of the WATER!!!!!!!!! I wish they were able to do a Cast Recording. They KILL IT here in CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!
this is a very good version! But i want to tell one thing to people that say that this one is better than the original: go to listen well how Freddie and Queen sing this song!
why is no one commenting on the song, did you not hear it, it was amazing i wish i had a voice like Tony Vincent, he is truly gifted lol, but seriously he's an amazing singer, so's Hannah Jane Fox and this song is ther best throughout the whole play. I think the forst 2 verses are boring but when it spped up it becomes alot better, perfect lyrics to, couldn't be better
@F1KillerQueen Wish i saw the original cast...I only saw it when the tour came to Dublin...i did have the honour of playing Pop in our sxhools production of WWRY...best role ever!
i love it! but can someone tell me, why, why is my breathing heavier(i'm not out of breath) at the end, why do i know the lyrics by listening to this video for the second time? why do i get such a strangee feeling inside myself? can someone please tel me? awesome video BTW
You can buy the DVD (of the first ever performance) from the gift shop in the Dominion Theatre (the Theatre that's been showing this musical for over 10 years) Hope I helped
WENT TO SEE IT IN MANCHESTER, it was better than the original in my opinion :) they added theyre own personal bits to the script making it even funnier :D
i just rememberd that when i saw this and the 2 of them kissed, the whole room went silent except for one guy who yelled "ow OWWWWWWWW!" we all cheered
But when did you see them, 'cause this is from like.. 2003 or something, so maybe you just saw the cast from now, 'cause they're amaaaaaaaazing to, saw them live &.. WOW!
Oh dear, that must have been one of the most beautiful versions I've heard so far ... so full emotion and their voices go so beautifully together.
the romance between Galileo and Scarmouche is both hysterically funny and really sweet at the same time.
And so innocent.
Quite innocent in many ways.
Amazing. Beautiful. Fantastic. We played this at my Great Uncle's funeral - his last words were 'Ah well, who wants to keep on living forever anyway? I'd just get older...'
I love this version than the original Queen version. Don't get me wrong I love queen but this one is the perfect cover song of who wants to live forever.
I have To say This is the best version I have heard "Who Wants To Live Forever" and it is live, so that is a plus.
"then if i have your love, dying doesnt matter much at all, does it?" fave line!!!!!
Wow went to theatre yesterday and saw it for first time, this is a cracking version of this track, brought tears to my eyes watching, it brought back the joy of watching it.
I played Scara a few years ago. Watching these two brings me to tears everytime.
i love the uk touring cast they are amazing. i have already seen it 7 times and want to go again.
I saw this three times in Toronto with my mom. She died about a year and a half ago and this was her favourite song in this play and he favourite Queen song. Watching this isn't the same without her. This was always my favourite somg to sing and now I sing it in her memory.

yeah, you def gotta do that!
though you were a teen queen, you are sooo lucky! :)
ahhh he's amazing!!!
I completly agree with both of you. Freddie was wonderful and so is Tony.
But just be clear, Tony's not gay. He recently got married.
I prefer the original australian cast, but I lvoe the london ones all the same I think they both did wonderful jobs in bringin it to life!

It is, she is lower because he is a high tenor, not to mention she is more of an Alto herself.

I always wanted to play the boy and I'm ten he's so like me the way he hates electronic music
erm gazza fizza is short for galileo figgaro. which is some lyrics in bohemian rhapsody. hope that helps :)
@ROBYNX1995 If you played Scara, that means you are a very talented vocalist. x
