He spoke like he was rappin. He was ahead of his time. His voice commanded attention whether you like his music or not. The only rapper imo who had the deepest raspy voice but with perfect clarity. Growing up, his music gave me joy, motivation to go hard in the gym, and hyped me up whenever I felt down. He also was a professional never started or participated in pety drama and a gentlemen. He treated poeole with respect who gave it and had stayed humbled. Although he was a devout Christian and I an atheist I still say RIP from any pain, worries, or struggles he faced. I'm am trully greaful to him and very sorry for his family and friend's loss. ☮️🕊️ #roughrider

Everyone has their own style, voice, flow etc that's why you have to respect the OGs of rap. They all had to create their own wave. There were no copy cats back then like now days.
Actually you’re wrong, there were always copycats even back then. Cats was copying Ra, copying Nas, copying X, and any of the other OGs back then. The only difference is that in those days copycats got called out a lot more whereas these days they get away with it more often.
