With the Savage Mark II the one thing I wish they would improve on is the mags. I don't think anyone would mind spending a few more dollars if the mags were of better quality. 🤔
My MkII does really well with Aguila Super Extra and Eley Target, but the Aguila is 1/4 the price. CCI Sub-Sonic are my third choice, and I like the HP design for hunting. The Subs are really quiet in my Savage which has a longer barrel than yours.
If you can hit that distance, you're a sharpshooter! In Korea, where I live, carrying guns is prohibited, so I have to go to an enclosed shooting range to shoot. you are very nice.
@Lowballinoutdoorz I've tried 6 different ammo brands and it likes cci blazers ans cci standard velocity....it won't eject the Anguilla. And it won't feed the cci hollow points...
I like the CCI’s 👍
For sure!!
Awesome!!! Thanks for doin that aguila- and you said it right - Uh-Ggee-luh - so excited about this video!
Thanks for watchin man

I love the

Mornin Alex!
Howdy cw
Tomorrow's squirrels do not have a chance😅
Hahaha
Nice shooting and awesome rifle I hope you have a great weekend.
Thanks Chris!!
I generally don't shoot at game beyond 60 yards with the 22 LR. That being said, I haven't tried any of the hyper velocity 22 LR products on game.
Yea, I just thaught it would be kool to see what everyone else would say about taking critters at distance with a 22lr

Awesome to hear others results
In my ruger it likes the 40gr. Mini mags I wonder what they will do in the mark 2 savage thinking about picking one up fvsr
Be kool to try!!
😃👍
Some nice groups there. At 100 yds with the 22, I'm lucky to get all 5 shots to hit the target. Haha
Haha thanks for watchin Joe!!

@@Lowballinoutdoorz My friend, thanks again for your reply.
Yes it will go over 100 yd I just cited mine in for 100 then decided to go to the thousand-yard and I was hitting my target
Sounds Ike you got me beat!
You should try the flyswatter challenge
O yea!! Where yall getting the targets?
@@Lowballinoutdoorz they are online and you have to print them out
Thanks
For 100+ yards shooting, you should use standard velocity or subsonic for better accuracy, BROTHER !
Absolutely agree!! I had several people tell me that this ammo was better so I shot this video. Thanks for watchin buddy!!
So what’s the Savage mark ll cost , with out the scope ?
260ish
Just bought the MKII FVSR brand new with rail & scope for $229
Good job but this old man now stops at 75 to 80 yards. That way i know im dead nutz good😊
A man with a plan!!
Ill shoot my 22 at any distance but for ethical kills,i stop at 200
My mark 2 won't shoot either of those
Really?? Interesting... what does it like?

@joshuasweet1532 that sounds like there is something wrong with it.
@Lowballinoutdoorz that's to be expected from the cheapest gun on the market I guess
@joshuasweet1532 na, most shoot very well.. to me sounds like a fun project to see what is wrong
