CHELSEA SELL THE TRAINING GROUND? CHELSEA OWNERS SHOCK US AGAIN 😱
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 12 май 2024
- Chelsea ownership has supposedly found yet another loophole that could lead to them no longer needing to RUSH the sales of £100m players before the end of June 2024. David Ornstein spoke on NBC Sport on Sunday explaining that Chelsea do not need to sell players before June. This means Pochettino will have longer to assess the squad that he wants for the 24/25 season! What are your thoughts on Chelsea reportedly selling their Cobham training ground 'to ourselves'? Smart business? Or are you concerned?

If we can keep both Chalobah & Gallagher coz of this, im happy.
So true. No matter what they will give everything for this club. We should keep them.
The question is, is chalobah still be the same if silva leave?
@@nomercy411 He's better than Disaster and Badiashile combined, that's for sure.
@@_Seru_ yes no doubt. He look very comfortable and confident when silva is around. How if silva gone. Would he lose his confident and being shaky? Cause he should take all the burden and responsibility on his shoulder because he is senior.
If Gallagher is fine coming off the bench in the near future I’m fine with him staying
These owners man, they keep coming up with loopholes i've never heard of and never see coming 😂
Never trust American business men 😂😂😂
😂😂
You think it sounds good now, but its not smart.
But this is nothing new. Real Madrid did it.
Lol next, they will sell Cobham back to Chelsea for 1 pound and Chelsea will sell it again lmao
Why is everyone saying loopholes? These the rules. It's just out private equity owners have more intelligence than most football club bean counters
They are so intelligent they turned a champions league winning club into a mid table team in just two years after spending just a billion pounds 😂
@@niksur7113can't agure that and I love chelsea 😅👌
I dont want to see Jackson benched, he's improving well. Bring Datro Fofano back and have him as a backup.
👍
There are fans hating on jackson, one particular guy I won't name
Lol. Being on the bench doesnt mean he is being crap or something. He is 22, he have plenty of year ahead to develop. Lets get someone who is ready to lead the frontline and could be a mentor to jackson. Thats the most reasonable option for the team who is fighting for title. @@k-mc12slayerentertainment.85Not necessary because they are not owned by Chelsea anymore, they need to be sold back or separately and even then if ownerd are leaving on bad terms this could effect the price of sale or refusing to sell them
@@kenjoi9413 I bet you have zero logic as to how it will be negative, am i right?
How often do millionaires and especially billionaires have to account for their actions?
i think we should keep going with Jackson, especially now we have another player who can tally up some goals in Palmer plus nkuku back now too, Jackson can only improve imo. for me the negative this season is the sloppy defence display we have had no thanks to injuires ofcourse.. but id say after watching 90% of the games, most of the goals we have conceeded were p*ss poor defending and would class it as championship/league 1 level at best.
I hope they're selling these assets back to the club over an 8-year period or something
They’re selling assets to themselves
@@filosofastone1442 Just remember, BlueCo isn't Chelsea. BlueCo can't sell Chelsea, but they can sell their assets, and they can sell themselves. Loophole Co likely already knew they signed into nothing. They've already spent a billion to accomplish mostly nothing, and they'll probably do that again and complete the turnaround on 3 more years.
I hope Chelsea don't sell Gallagher as I personally think it could really be a mistake
Why aren’t we looking at guirassy 15m buyout clause 28 y/o so some experience and on filthy form 26 goals in 28 appearances
Boniface is also cheap, should consider him too
The problem with these sales of things like the training ground, is the future. Any future sale of the club is going to be very complex.
It would be at least 8 more years to even consider that option and they could always buy it back, I wouldn't dwell on it too much
I dont understand why we would get osimhen, it would only stunt jacksons development
Why aren’t we looking at guirassy 15m buyout clause 28 and on filthy form 26 goals in 28 appearance
Because he’s 28 years old and has never had a season even close to this one before. Not enough evidence that he can replicate it
@@Graziak515 mil is still a bargain whichever way you look at it
@@Graziak5 15 million is basically free and he's experienced. Plus, unlike Jackson, he actually is a striker.
Been thinking the same tho. He comes with experience for a little fee. Looks like this club hasn’t learnt high price tags on players doesn’t mean you’re buying quality
@@towojudaniel5188 Yeah, look how Giroud ended up. He wasn't expensive but he was probably our 3rd best striker in recent history, after Drogba and Costa. Guirassy is a low risk with potentially high reward considering how many chances we're already creating.
Tactical tweaks will mean nothing if Chelsea cannot sort out the defence having conceded 61 goals this season. The top 3 are on 28, 33 and 38 today which is a world away from our defending.
At times we had like 4 center Forwards like Drogba, Kezman, Gudjohnsen and Crespo.. not counting C. cole or in 2009 Dtogba, Shevchenko , Anelka and Sturridge. We can get Osimen AND Sesko and also keep Jackson.
We don't really need to keep Jackson.

Oshimen and Jackson as our forwards doesn't sound great when the African Nations comes around and we lose both of them

selling the training ground to a sister company is actually genius, it means that sister company can spend how ever much it likes on upgrading the training ground with no financial outlay, at least in terms of FFP from Chelsea

One thing about Jackson, he’s usually pretty decent at releasing the ball. But I keep watching numerous clips of this man on a counter or another situation, and instead of releasing, he tries to do too much and loses the ball. I hope he grows out of that
We never lost a preseason match with Santos. He could have been a starter this season.
Yet he couldn't find his feet with forest.
This to me looks like the value of Chelsea dropping whilst the owners make a profit . Going forward this could really be far worse than selling a couple of players no matter how good they are
They make profit when club value grows long term.
Its a worrying sign that we are in financial trouble what happens when owners sell up chelsea will own nothing
So now hotel and training ground are under BlueCo, and what happens when they will sell Chelsea? They will still be owners of the hotel and training ground? 🙂
Jackson does not need to learn from anybody. He is a good striker look at his goals through the year. Next year he'll be better. Stop talking rubbish things about Jackson needing to learn from somebody else. Why spend more money on another player when we have enough players
He's not a striker in the first place, let alone a good one. Nearly all of his goals are tap ins and even then he tends to miss some of those 100% chances. He's the only reason we lost to City in the FA Cup, he wasted two massive chances in that game because he has no clue how to finish.
why the heck GB keeps hoping Osimhen to come? Have he watched the performance of Osimhen this season in Napoli and AFCON? It's awful, not to mention his 1 season wonder was created in Serie A. Who is the last successful Serie A striker in Premiere League or even other top tier leagues?
Chelsea is not in a position to risk a flop at $100. I don’t think osi is a flop but I not convinced he will be worth that. I say we trust in Nick jack and Nkunku, if they fail to perform by the January window next season you absolutely move for a world class striker then
@@jamesgardner4412 we’re not going to get a proper striker in January
Those are not the reasons V.Osimhen will not move to Chelsea, no sense as he sure will not move to Chelsea anyway!

Hope we don't end up like Barcelona! Selling assets is ok, but over-spending on a few players has put CFC is a tight spot, unless we get European income; Europa league is minimal income, but great to get young players more time in meaningful matches. Alan Shearer is right, we need a striker to take pressure off Jackson, but it will be expensive.
Boniface is a cheaper alternative to Oshimen
He's not good enough
He's not interested in moving to England, go watch his podcast with John obi Mikel.

Poch needs to stay mate we don't have good flipping managers right now better than poch innit
Don't sell asserts, please. Just go over FFP and get some points deducted next season we will still stay in the premier. Then restart the season after with go financial management. Sometimes it is good to take a calculated risk.
Flipfloping George getting hyped up again! 😂ClownLake ownership will shock George when poch is sacked, Gallagher & chalobah is sold for pure profit!
What all these? Some players we signed made no sense...
Why all these headaches? They are unnecessary.
Any thoughts on Maatsen ? He had really good season at BVB!
me thinking we do need to sell 100m plus of players , but its a clever move to get good prices with teams not thinking we are desperate .
I'm not sure if we are looking to win at the moment since we are doing what we are doing with the ammount of capital investment that we are clearly focussing on...perhaps next year could be more of the same....I hate us doing what we are doing too...perhaps Todd sells the club in the future and is looking at the balance sheet more than anything else. Though City get to play by the seperate FFP rules than the rest of the league.
Sooo does this mean we don't have to sell Conor Gallagher? Cause if we do who is gonna replace him? Enzo is our slowest player and wont press anywhere close to what Conor can...Lavia is injury prone...and all the rest are not ready. We need some one like Onana from Everton or might have to use Reece James in midfield.
Reece james on the midfield is not a bad idea at all
@@nomercy411 Then we won't have a backup for Gusto. James isn't going to split into two people, if he's in midfield we only have Gusto as a RB.
@@_Seru_ It was not rocket science. We have lavia, enzo, gallagher, caicedo, ughucukwu, and santos at midfield. When gusto not available, james play rb.
@@_Seru_ we still have 2 rb. Because we have subs in midfield.
Finally someone thinking like me. Jackson and Fofana are skilled and we don’t need to rely on them because if we can have a consistent Sterling or a consistent LW that will play a bit closer to the half of Palmer’s output. We have nkunku and we will be just fine. Buying a big money striker might change how we play and we might focus too much on providing to that striker instead of all players taking it on their own. Don’t get me wrong I know Osimhen will be great for Chelsea and in the premier league but Jackson definitely will be better in about two years time. We need a LB, a LW a CB and maybe a GK. Maximum four signings and we will be fine. They can sell Gallagher but Chalobah must stay. In a 4231 it’s better to have Enzo and Caicedo (Deep lying playmaker and a defensive midfielder) an attacking midfielder who will be Nkunku and we keep Palmer on the right, Sterling on the left or a new LW. Jackson up front and Fofana, mudryk Chukwemka and Madueke as front 4 subs. Latvia and santos as midfield subs, gusto and chilwell as left backs subs. Disasi and badiashille as CB subs. I’d love Emi Martinez as GK and Petrovic as back up. Wesley and Colwill our CB and Reece James and new LB as full backs.
After our Daddy Abramovich, I just love my uncle Todd. He's such a personality, business geniuses!!
I love how much this is going to annoy rival fans 😂
As long as we don’t sell future media rights like Barcelona did but there’s a finite limit to how much club assets can be sold
One thing that needs to be looked at hear how many things are they going to sell what happens when they sell Chelsea ? Will they build a new stadium and sell it ? Wouldn’t be surprised at all if it becomes a sponsored stadium
The longer I think about it I'm moving further away from wanting Oshimen, still would take him but won't be stressed if we don't...plus there's AFCON 🤷🏾♂️
Forget any more deluded obsessed fantasies on V.Osimhen and any Napoli players like arrogant deluded!
Is this going to be a worry for the future if we end up not owning our own facilities as a football club?
Derby county ex owner Mel morris sold the stadium back to himself and they got a huge point deduction and got relegated
Why the hell we loaned out santos and panic bought ugochukwu I’ll never know
Ugochukwu was only 23 million. Not a huge risk at that price
They are gutting the club. When they sell for a profit, they will still privately own a lot of the assets that was originally included in the deal. Eyes on money only.
I saw an opportunity for us and Newcastle to finish in Europa League but I must say even Spurs will find it hard to lose against Sheffield. I hope I'm wrong though lol
Our midfield options :: Caicedo, Enzo, Gallagher, Lavia, Oguchukwu, Chukumeka.
Hi George why don't we go for Harry Kane as he might be available. Come on you Blues. Keep up the great content !!
Undeniably Chelsea had to raise money for FFP/PSR requirements for the periods 2022/23, 2023/24 and possibly 2024/25. Little sponsorship money, no CL, top 4 or trophies for the last 3 yrs. Lower player sales as loans not converted to sales early enough.
So lever 1 - Share buy back. Then lever 2 - Sell hotels to self. No cincrete sales yet. Lever 3 - Sell Cobham training ground to self.
Now decisions on coach(es), player(s), sponsors, kits, etc based on final PL standings. New player acquisition(s) will be determined by money raised and players sold - between June/July 24.
We will deal with that as it happens.
How do you sell Gala....I just can't believe this....everything about Chelsea now is so wrong....no need buying now!!! Keep Building the Capacity of the Jackson's, Nkuku etc....
I would love fulkrug at chelsea. All around, experienced and cheap.
Great move from the owners. Now they can sell players in their own terms. Hopefully Chelsea get themselves back to the UCL so that more spending can continue.
No one has given me a reason we can’t sell a player (e.g. Gallagher) to an associate just as we did with the hotels?
I’m pretty sure Jackson is probably the best value player of the whole window . 15 mil for 15 goals is pretty insane
He was £32 million. Still good value though, and he's going to get a lot better.
@@vincefont4765 I wonder why I thought he was 15M
Ollie Watkins has been great this season 19 goals 12 assists premier league proven he would be a good move if at the right price
Another Aftican striker is not the best idea, imagine they both go for Afcon and we’re having a great season like title challenging season
The problem is that these loopholes are short term solutions. This means that yes, Chelsea are better off financially now, but any revenue that Cobham and the hotels produced now no longer counts towards future FFP calculations.
I read they're charging inflated management fees for both properties so the revenue isn't affected, its basically just moving their money from one pot to the other.
We will have to sell some players as we can only loan less players next season
If these owners sell the training ground. How the hell are Clear lake any different to the Glazers. We will end up owning nothing and undo the Investments that Roman put into this club.
The hotel gone!!! I don't trust Clear lake & thank god we own the pitch. Sell kepa, Lukaku, (ziyech sold so save on wages) Sanchez, Sarr, Broja. Not sure if we have had the bag for Hall yet. Sterling & for me if Maatsen can do the same job as Cucurella. Then sell Cucurella or the other way round. That's nine potential players we should sell. Selling all assets from Chelsea to another in-house company. Weakens Chelsea.
Can't hate on our owners for loop-holes.
Hell no we should not be selling Cobham
Nico needs to continue having consistent minutes, not to "learn" from someone. I can't agree with any theory that bringing in a striker that will be higher on the pecking order than Nico "helps" him.
Nicolas Jackson needs to be sold.
Nico has the speed and positioning to be one of the top scorers he just wasn't making the most of all the opportunities he got he couldn't finish to well but last few games he's looked better for 1v 1 against the keeper
He can play on the left
@@Graziak5 Yeah, Ig that’s true.
Let them give pochetino this half season to with all those players available
I think we need to back Nico Jackson. No way that Gallagher and Chalobah leaves. Even Sterling can stay for one more reason. I’m unsure about Mydruk and Madueke they need more minutes elsewhere once Reece Rwb and Chilly Lwb is back in match fitness. We even have Cucu and Gusto to rotate. Palmer and Jackson can be rotated RW and LW together with Nkunku. We absolutely need to replace Thiago Silva with experience in the backline
We need Lewis Dunk to replace TSilva
Keep Poch 1 more season. If doesn't work we should try xabi. Next season he will be available most probably
Would we rather have Osimhen over Isak? Personally, Isak is prem proven and young and can play out wide or down the middle.

I really like Osimen, but given his 26 and that massive price tag Im really not sure! Also if we get him we are buggered during AFCON competitions as we will loose both him and Jackson to top African teams that will be in the latter stages of the competitions.

DO NOT BUY ANOTHER STRIKER FOR RIDICULOUS MONEY. Another decent Jackson valued one maybe but honestly stick with nick (ay) Nkunku can easily back up (top scorer in bundesliga) Broja is coming back also. Not necessarily my fave but Lukaku ain't bad to have on the bench
Why are some chelsea fans silly? Why wouldnt you want to bring in a striker like oshimen.. why do you care how much he cost? Its not ur money. Also if anything its good to provide competition in the team, it will only make jackson and the rest of the team better. Look at man city they have world class options in nearly every position. If it wasn’t for cole palmer we would be near the bottom and you best believe you guys would be calling for us to sign a world class striker because the chances jackson missed this season is really unforgettable.
Where are we gonna train now 😢😢
It is really bizarre why established chelsea youtubers are so calm about these owners selling Gallagher, Chalobah and even Maatsen. Even you mentioned it in this video as if you are talking about Sarr or Lukaku. Do even realize how crazy it would be to sell Gallagher, who has been virtually our captain for this season and has played so so well? Same goes for Chalobah. This is the problem with Chelsea man, we dont have any ultras or strong presence in the fans who can unite against the owners and protest. So sad actually
I never believed that we would need to sell £100m by 30th June. That was a rumour, a number plucked out of the air by that failed Man City 'FFP Expert' on TalkSport, and then spread around media as if it was 'fact'. Say what you like about Clearlake, but these guys are money men. They would not do something that would put them in a position of an enforced fire sale where all the potential buyers have us over a barrel. I believe David Ornstien. He is a proper journalist, not a clickbait merchant.
Ian Mason $35million
Lukaku. $20million
Boja. $10million
Kepa. $10million
Hall. $25million
Ziyech. $5million
Sterling. $25million
This is a total of $125million that Chelsea can raise from unwanted players sale.
The issue you're not taking into account is the book value of those players.. most of them your making a loss on going by your sale fees..
George, you probably thought it was a good idea to alleviate Callum Hudson-Odoi from the pressures of playing by signing Pulisic. It's all BS. Let the boys get game time to develop.
Otherwise, we'll be spending 100 million plus to get players that are going to flop instead of just sticking to what we have.
Right now, I wouldn't be seeing the nonsense that is Mudryk and Sterling if we had just stuck to Callum and his development.
😊 Chelsea need another striker that is not from Africa due to African cup nations happening every two years. If Chelsea buy oshimenh, can Chelsea survive without oshimenh and Jackson in their team? May be another striker is needee in their absence.
None of these strikers are coming they will inflate the wage bill. Remember there is a cap coming. I am happy with Jackson if they buy a new striker its probably going to be another young player on low wages
They aren't 'loopholes', they are clever business heads coming up with strategies that made them billionaires!.
I think we are looking for MU win actually against Newcastle, as then 61 points would guarantee us 6th place
Santos will fit in this Chelsea team so well
We shouldn't have spent so much on Enzo. Santos was enough.
Another gem ready to be broken. Enzo x caicedo is too pricey to be bench
Even though Oshimen is a big name he has severely fallen out of form this season and is currently underperforming, We need to consider this fall of form is also in calcio A an arguably lesser sided league in regards to premier league intensity and defensive ability for these reasons I believe it will be more successful to hold Jackson as a striker right now or at least look to a world class striker who still currently has the form of a world class striker.
No sense over no sense, over and over on V.Osimhen at any videos and comments..,
75m quits for Gallagher and 50m quits for Chalobah will be perfect business since we ain't in any sort of rush to sell players anymore.
Just my own opinion though 😁
