I just realized the subtle piano at 0:32 plays the first 3 notes of Zelda’s Lullaby, foreshadowing that whatever’s down here has something to do with her
Link is supposed to be the image of Peter Pan the creator of Zelda admits the works of Zelda is inspired by Peter Pan and Neverland the reason why Link wears green and used to always have a fairy side kick Navi being Zeldas Tinker Bell.
The claps are part of the OST as a whole, like an underpinning of the entire journey. The pinnacle of the soundtrack even comes with one right as you grab Zelda's hand at the end of the game.
This song terrified me I knew the game was going to be awesome but when I loaded it for the first time, started progressing downwards... I was thinking, "Zelda... this is a terrible idea... we need to leave..." the music, it's amazing
That was exactly what I was thinking! The music was so ominous I was feeling my own heart racing as we got deeper and deeper underground until we reached the Imprisoning Chamber that held the King of Evil himself.
It felt like I was dreaming for a moment but I knew I was awake experiencing this for the first time this game is so huge it should of been a Breath of the Wild expansion or DLC I'm way too early exploring the depths but there sure is a lot of Zonai statue and Zora statues.
What really stood out to me the most about this prologue theme was how the original trailer theme, which could be called "the Demon King" based on how it's used as a main theme for Ganondorf, gradually begins to reassemble itself as the track goes on. Eventually it's overlain by the maddening motif that could be called "Gloom's Spread" due to how it often accompanies creatures suffused with/related to gloom.
"The luminous stones glow in darkness. Many believe them to be the souls of the dead. Sometimes, I can still hear their voices. They call out for help, knowing their fate as evil infects their rocky vessels." -i forgor 💀
This entire opening was giving me Darkest Dungeon I flashbacks. To paraphrase a line from the opening a bit: "Our every step unsettled the ancient earth, but we were in a realm of gloom and malice!"
After playing very slowly for 2 months, I'd forgotten how terrifying those first moments were! And it all makes so much more sense in the context of the larger game now. Incredible job in putting this together. Thank you.
My only worry is that if these videos get too many views Nintendo will copyright claim them. RIP Dystify. Great work, I can tell this took a lot of effort and I've had your tracks on repeat the last few days. Thanks for what you do!
In my Headcanon, this theme song is accompanied by Flash backs to the whole journey leading up to now, The champions deaths, the fall of Hyrule kingdom, the defeat of the calamity at the end of it all, and Gloom/malice pouring through the air. The fog being so thick you can only see a foot’s length away from yourself. I feel like this game would have been perfect had they made the connection between the two games stronger, maybe throwing in a Line or two about how Ganondorf loved watching the champions give into their final breath. Or maybe something different, if they had made the connection between Calamity Ganon, and Ganondorf more obvious, this would have been more personal, this would have felt like the “Final Battle” against foes. A centuries old conflict. All ends here…
Why zelda always be a typical save the princess game..but goes terrifyingly scary half way through a game or towards the end. Imagine this playing after returning from the temple in OoT realizing after all you e done the kingdom still fell people are dead even going to the windmill house and see the results made me feel unease.
Bro I can see someone playing this music finding some type of ancient secrets within the egyptian pyramids Nintendo does it again BTW if you guys don't know Zelda is based on Peter Pan and Hyrule is actually Neverland!

I JUST RELISED THAT THANK YOU!!!
They should teach about vgm in schools.

shut up @@TechnoMinded-qp5in
I love the "hollow" clapping in between the voices

I was almost expecting a gibdo.
You can imagine how I felt near the end of the game.

this is one of the best intros to a game i’ve ever played

I love how the theme from the teaser trailer made it into the game.
This song was honestly terrifying and cool at the same time. Descending into Hyrule castle while this played perfectly set the mood.
Now to go through, liking and commenting on every vid in the playlist. Let's hope this boosts the algorithm.
Of course, I will also listen to the tracks. They are masterpieces.
Appreciate the support! :’)

Great work, I can tell this took a lot of effort and I've had your tracks on repeat the last few days. Thanks for what you do!
If nobody noticed those noises are distored zonai voices
… and then there’s Zelda, who’s just absolutely fangirling over the “ancient history” as you descent farther and farther.
So glad I found your channel!
Best quality versions of these on YT, thank you so much!
Before I was like: oh god I don’t wanna go down there
Now I’m like: holy sh*t this is epic
A masterpiece
Funfact: The total playtime of all the videos in the playlist is 3 hours, 42 minutes, and 16 seconds.

That’s actually really clever
It's only a matter of time before this whole soundtrack gets added to the Nintendo Music app...
Assuming there isn't any place to get these at 256kbps AAC is there? These seamless mixes are absolutely incredible. Great work.

It's already on my playlist!
@@dyltheisprodI found it like 10 minutes after posting this comment but thanks!
Are you still working on the OST? Is there a place we can keep up with the progress?

No wonder Robin Williams liked it.
Imo the game peaked at the opening
You can’t tell me you didn’t have a gasm fighting the army or ganon
it peaked at the end of
This game is the definition of peaked.
