I had a son of The Ole Man. He was AAA on the track, won AQHA Halter Classes as a yearling, and placed in Open Western Pleasure classes. I rode him in WPRA Rodeos and was 2nd in the PRCA Great Lakes Circuit on him. He was gorgeous, talented and smart. The best horse I ever had!

This was my horse's grandfather too! I had my sweetheart for almost 20 years. I cannot find anything like him.

Nice video, but come on Three Bars is not a foundation horse, and he's a Thoroughbred. Did Richard Kleberg really say about The Old Man that "he was the last true Quarter Horse Sire" ? Maybe he was speaking about versatility and it was taken out of context. What about Little San Peppy, and Peppy San Badger, and a host of others?
