@@markfinley7973 Slot Pilot Amanda "Stalin" Lee is new to the # 4 slot position this year, was # 3 wing position last year, just learning the slot position
Ohhh how beautiful!❤❤ Growing up in the Midwest, got to see them at airshows😊…Now I live in Las Vegas, so, yep. Thanks for the video! My 23 year old son is a PPL here. Keep up the great work❤❤❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😊😊😊
A great video to observe how the fly-by-wire control laws change during various maneuvers. On takeoff the rudder toe-in washes out (goes to zero) as soon as landing gear are not down and locked. Similar FCS changes must be managed throughout the show, often while locked into that "tight Blue Angel formation". Bravo Zulu all !!
this is awesome what you jet jockeys do on the one move off the deck where that poor sap had to fly underneath the other 3 looked like he got some bad air
What are the Solos doing on take off now with that little turn away from each other? No more dirty roll / max climb takeoff? Or is this just for winter training?
Bet that single-engine prop pilot @2:33 felt pretty inadequate taking off after the Blues landed. "Fly Navy - because even Air Force pilots need heroes." Growler Jams
@@spencerhughes2255 My Dad was stationed there in the late 60's - early 70's at the NARF facility. Got a ring side seat as a kid to watch them practice. I've seen them fly everything from the F11 up to now the F/A18-E. They still amaze me. Hoping to be there in March. Beautiful video!
@thatsworrisomeyoubetterrun2541 so, you're being insulting, as I was pointing out a moment that made me nervous - safety wise? This isn't a troll commenting about "mistake." I was genuinely concerned. I absolutely love aviation, the Thunderbirds, and the Blue Angels.

utterly disgusting and totally unnecessary, gross, orange smoke... but other than that - not a bad mediocre demo team flight display! Sorry for the blunt feedback and public input from an otherwise fan of Super Hornet in the carrier deck naval capacity role ✌🛡🏊🔛
The smoke, produced by veggie oil, is for self-critique during the training flight and also post flight debrief critique. That's why you will see the drivers turn it on and off during the training flights, except when BOSS commands "smoke off" for all. Smoke on= in position, Smoke off= out of position. This will NEVER change.

Slot Pilot "Stalin" Lee getting it done, love the rudder inputs to get into position on takeoff. Awesome video as always.
I think he knows what he is doing! Incredible perfection!

@@markfinley7973 Well, it’s Winter Training so they’re all new in their positions. And he is actually a she. Lt Commander Amanda Lee.

Yeah it looked like he was drifting the jet

Awesome Capture Spencer. Stalin sliding into the slot position was epic. I can't wait to get back out there. Thanks for sharing.
the diamond take off is so iconic!
Absolute best shot of 4 jets flying together. That slot pilot making the jet was drifting. Amazing confidence and doing itike a BOSS!
Your Blue Angel vids are the best...
You never disappoint Spencer. 👍🏼
cant wait to see how these guys preform this year! looking good so far!
I'm a 68 year old Navy baby. The Blue Angeles have never gotten old. Even in practice. Go Navy!
Beautiful! Looking forward to another season at NAS Pensacola!
I saw the Blue Angels last year in McMinnville Oreeeeegone. The sneaker passes caught everyone by surprise!!

loved every time my Reserve unit did drill weekends in El Central in winter. Home of the Blue Angels winter over.
Only thing better would be Miss America U.S.A.F. pilot flying with Blue Angels 🇺🇸💞. So proud watching them my eyes get watery 🇺🇸🦇🦸
Brilliant video shots again the noise is fantastic have a wonderful safe new year.
Just Awesome 🏁🏁
amazing take off formation
The good stuff is back. Looking forward to this season's practise flying.
Another great video, Spence!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work, my man!
The precision of those pilots is unconscionable. Wingtips inches from each other.
2:50 So wicked!
Amazing video. Crazy how big the flaps are on the super.
Bravo à ces pilotes qui prennent des risques pour montrer leurs agilites. Merci.
AWESOME…Fly Navy! The best always have!
Awesome posting Spencer! Love it! Where did this take place? Keep up the amazing coverage! Happy New Year!
El Centro. First day of winter practice.
Stalin is killing it in the slot position. So proud of her..💪

Interesting . . . . 2 #2s
That straight on shot at take off, just bad to the bone. ◇◇◇◇bbbbad
your video quality is better than MIke's, but his audio track is much better.
@2:48 is it just me, or did Blue Angel #4 look a bit lower than normal when slotting in? 😮

Slot Pilot Amanda "Stalin" Lee is just learning to be the slot #4 pilot this year as she was # 3 wing last year
Watch from the beginning of the maneuver. She initially descends before starting to slide over and appears to end up low. I share your concern.

That #4 wasted no time in getting into position. They weren't 50 feet off the deck and he was tucked right into the slot.
I mean itd be nice to see more then just take offs and landings…..
Has the EPA investigated these planes. Looks like they make quite a mess of the air.
Yes the EPA has investigated and approved. Do your own research.
So when did Pensacola get so desolate with high raised hills far in the background? "That John Denver is full of shi[nto]." 🤣😂🤣😂
