AAAA I'm in a music school and we perform 4 shows per year (we're separated into bands and whatnot) and I'm getting the chance to play lead for this song- its so cool!! thanks for uploading the backing track :)
I have uploaded an instrumental version of this song using this great backing track, adding two guitar parts including Wah effect. I notice that the Cream version was played in G instead of C sharp.

Sound is right on, but I'm about 99% sure Albert King was playing this tuned down a half step... that's how he's able to vibrato the low E.
So play it over C then. 🤷♂️
Original was definitely in Db, but yeah, he may have tuned down. You can easily do the same though
Play it at x1.25 for a that higher tempo like in the In Session one.
This one is a lot of fun maybe I can finally work on my blues scales. Quick Question, when you say C# blues scale it's always in minor right? thanks.
Yup. The blues scales is the same thing as the minor pentatonic but with the 'blue note' added which is the b5. Gives it more of an edge.
