I only care about the titanium integral model. Great design, and Reate again, killing it with a super blade satin design. What a beautiful integral. Thanks for the video
Nice review! I've had the CF MTNT since right after CCKS, and I mostly agree with you. Probably my favorite knife this year. Mine is 2.3oz on my scale, though. Not sure why there's such a big discrepancy.
Both very interesting knives... I can put them on my list based on your review that these are mechanically well built/functional. Short blades, but at least they are commensurately lightweight.
@@EpicSnuggleBunny which sucks because the t3500 and the Gents are both highly anticipated for me. Still waiting. Be a miracle if they drop in 2020 at this point.
I'm really interested in the Ferus but can't help feeling like the price is a bit high. It's less than my Shirogorov NeOn Zero but also from a far less established brand that outsources their production. $350 seems more reasonable to me. Guess I'll have to keep my eye on the secondary market.
@@Ty91681 I've heard that every now and then for the past ten years with no real source. The photos of the Shirogorov workshop on the USN forum suggest otherwise. I don't think the outsourcing is the biggest issue though. It's the fact that a comparable Chinese production knife, like the WE Synergy 2, costs over $100 less. The Ferus has the Kickstop mechanism but, to me, that doesn't warrant the price difference.
@@TheStabbyCyclist the sources that iveI heard strongly insinuate that about shiro are intimately involved in the production and custom knife markets and would have access to that type of information. This is not information that I pulled from reddit, it's out of the mouth of multiple "insiders" for lack of a better term. It's important to note that these very same people very much like and own shirogorovs. Having said all of that you're correct, I cannot prove it and I should not have said it as if it were an absolute truth.
Own a Mach 1 which I love but the Ferus I handled at CCKS was so smooth. Action had almost a Shiro feeling to it
Agreed, it's very smooth. I'd even argue that this one isn't fully broken-in yet.
Got the Copper Mach 3, it’s so awesome, a tad heavier, as in 3.7 , but not bad at all . And the copper real changes nicely over time ^^

Thanks for showing us Austin. I'm with you on size. Wish they would do some bigger Knifes also. You gonna reveiw your CKF Tiger?
Possibly, but its not on the short list for videos.
@@EpicSnuggleBunny I'm not sure if you watch my Channel. But I put a review of mine up. You just do it better. Haha!

awesome looking knifes. beautiful designs. very nice 👌
Reate is killing it this year!
They are so busy doing OEM work, that their own line has been neglected

I really like the green carbon fiber one 👌👌
It's fantastic that they are coming out with those prices at $180. Loved that harpoon. Great vid as always.👍😊
If the barker was 3 1/2 inch blade that would be my grail!!!!!!
For sure, I would love to see all of their models in the 3.25 - 3.5 inch range. Fingers crossed for future releases.
I third this. Would be nice !
I'll 'fourth' this. I own a Ferus and id still buy a larger version in a heart beat.
Very nice, too bad those holes and those screws are not for me

Shiro outsources their production too, I hate to break it to you.

@@TheStabbyCyclist you have zero proof Shiro is made in Russia. Pictures mean zilch
@@Alienmoonbathin you also have zero proof.

How is the closing action on the ferris?

Frame and inlays
@@EpicSnuggleBunny thanks for responding!!!
Who makes these? Is it reate?
Yep
Only $480 for that beautiful integral?? I would've guessed $800
Everything out of stock......
Ummmm yea you can get a CRK for that money.
Good luck with that.
Lost interest as soon as I heard the word "proprietary " especially as wingman rips off A. Purvis designs.
What of adams have they pilfered? I'm genuinely curious.
I'm still curious as to what they've taken from Adam...
