Way too small and it may just be me but Tanto blade shape has never spoke to me. Love the flipper tab. BTW....never apologize for not having a Patreon account. I respect the hell out of you for not going that route.
Thanks for the video, it's a cool little knife. I just wanted to point out that this model uses caged bearings. I know you showed an earlier wingman edc using loose bearings, but I've had this one apart, and it's caged. Free-spinning pivot hardware is definitely annoying, though.
Me too. Nice looking, but way too small. Reate is going down that road with there brand. Personally I've been exploring other brands higher end knives because of this trend.
I wish these companies would divulge the number of total units made on these numbered knives. It's kind of pointless to number a knife but not give the customer some idea of the number of units to be produced. Sorry for all the comments on an old video but wingman isn't the first company to do this. If someone can point me to that info please do. I own the Wingman Ferus and I can't find out any of that information.
That is a nice looking knife . It could take the place of my 0562 in my rotation. Just kidding . A little small for my taste . I carry a para 3 and bugout but that's about as small as i want in a modern folder . I always have a traditional as backup for small tasks so this would be redundant. Great video !
Very cool, the first time I would choose copper for a knife. You should get a Lil Native for size comparison of knives in that size class. Thanks for sharing 👍
Wow they are both beautiful. ESB I am about to drop $750+ Aus dollars on a Small Sebenza 21 ( I blame you! ). It's the Micarta Black Drop point S35vn version. That's the most recent? I think Production was August 19. Is there any issues with that knife that you know of? I think from what they say CRK is awesome but I am in Aus so warranty etc? Please tell me I am doing the right thing?
The Sebenza, of any size, is always a good choice. However, it took me years to really understand and appreciate all the reasons as to why. If you're accustomed to fast, ball bearing knives, it may not make sense at first. But the consistency, quality, durability and simplicity all put Sebenzas into a class of their own. Shipping will be a pain, but you're likely used to that by now. I don't have any concerns with their warranty department.
@@EpicSnuggleBunny Yep it is a special peice. I have a couple of ZT's 0450CF and 0609BLK ( Stuffed up there and got the Sprint run and not the CPM20CV blade 🤦♂️ ) that have lived in my pockets for years. Time to take the next step into CRK land. Thanks for your advice. Cheers
@@EpicSnuggleBunny Hey mate, sorry for dragging out this conversation but I have spent 2 days researching, chasing, bloody tweaking out about the Small Sebenza and not really satisfied with not getting the exact right thing ( under 3" Blade ??? ) I respect your opinion about things and know you won't say anything to disrespect CRK but If I am going to drop 1K Aus and wait 12+ months for a new order to be shipped. As you see it whats the difference between Large Sebenza 31( Lock rock? Is it a thing? ) and Large Inkosi ( I think different blade thickness etc ?? ). Sorry but it's hard not being able to go and find a retailer here in Aus where you can hold these knives. I'm not a social media kind of guy, but I think my partner would suggest that you are the closest thing to an ' Instigator ' in my life. 🤣 Seriously though thank you for your time, I know you read and respond to as many as possible 👍
@@Luke-mz5zt yes but customs here may simply refuse to allow importation if they read the word kick mechanism. Flippers were banned until just a few years ago. Especially when that flipper dissapears and is almost like a push button. If inspected coming in it may refused, hard to say, Sometimes assited slip through then again anything failing a gravity test even a slip joint can fail.
Here in Colorado a kicker is considered an auto if the part you push is a separate piece from the blade. So this one would be considered and auto. But since the blade is less than 3 inches it's legal.
Love the 🔪 very nice build, I need something more hand filling but I’m sure the big boy will come shortly after!! Awesome review checkout the channel sometime if you have time!!

What could possibly be wrong with having a Patreon?
Need a version one inch larger. I'd buy it immediately. That copper inlay is incredible.

Appreciate the info!
Great pieces. I would have like either a 3.1-3.25” or 3.4-3.6” variant.
I'll eagerly wait for a 3.25"3.625" variant.
Me too. Nice looking, but way too small. Reate is going down that road with there brand. Personally I've been exploring other brands higher end knives because of this trend.
Yes, me too. This one is at least a full inch too short. I'd be ok at 7"+. Absolutely love the design.

Beautiful folder, pricey.
So close to being my dream knife that nobody makes
🤠👍
These are beautiful!
They are!
Perfect size knife, i love mine. not too small in my large hands
I just shot a video jack ... not as glowing a review. And when tge hell are you coming down to visit

They look good and I like the size, but how was Reate able to make the 2.5 inch blade T2500 in titanium, cf inlays, and M390 for $192?
Solid question. The kickstop is certainly a more complicated build, but these do carry a premium price.
Thoughts on their warranty policy? Non-transferable, only the original owner can have warranty work done
Good question. I guess you should only buy one if you plan to keep it?
That's conducive to most. Honestly never had a warranty issue with reate myself
Timothy Allen I’m sending in a Crossroads that has centering issues and lock stick. Could happen to anyone
I hear ya, but again that's standard across the board. Kinda why toy have to be careful secondary.

Looks similar in size to Tengu?
Not sure if that mechanism would be classed as an auto here in Australia.
No. It will be considered a manual flipper. There is no assistance to open the knife. It is all down to the flipper tab.

Nice review. Anyone know if the pocket clip is removable?
It is, you would need to disassemble the knife completely, as the pocket clip is attached from the inside.
@@EpicSnuggleBunny Thanks for your reply! I assume the tool it comes with a whatever size torx is all I would need.
