Need some help Sir. I have a JCB 3C MK111. It is taking sometimes up to 5 mins to go into gear. Do you have any videos or information on how to check it and what fluid and filters need changed. I am here in the states and I have brought 2 books but they do not really help me. Thanks in advance for any help.
Hal’s anyone looking here ever had to replace the bottom hose on a 1984 3cx ,,,? Im trying to replace mine but for the life of me can’t see how to get the radiator out to release the bottom hose clip,,,,I’m contemplating taking the engine out,,😁,,,,,help , .????
I had to cut a hole out of the bottom of the fuel tank to clean mine out. Access is abysmal! I installed a large plate and gasket with the fuel pickup attached in case of a repeat performance 😄
@@bktractor8300 yes of course. but as it's integral to the frame you can't remove it to clean it out like with a tractor. That was why I added an "Inspection cover" underneath. Also mine was a 3C111 powershift and the fuel filler was on top of the tank at the nearside. I don't know if the extension filler tube on yours is unique to the military model. My old manual box 3C11 had the same top mounted filler as my 3C111.
@@billforrest4205 I personally wouldn't be cut in holes in the bottom of the tank Don't know if you have watched my video but I quite clearly have stated you And not gain good access to the tank there's 2 ways one through the pipe where you fill the tank up and the other 1 is at the top where the sender unit is Underneath the dashboard I most definitely would not be advising people to cut holes in the bottom of the tank good luck with your tractor
@@deanburr963 I haven't seen your video, (Clicking on your name just got a channel with no video's) The machine ran faultlessly for 4 years after the modification, and it's not uncommon in other plant. However as you say, randomly cutting holes is ill advised 😄 The tank was full of scum, dirt, scale, and rust. it was steam cleaned and then treated with Hydrochloric acid, then sand blasted. options were to cut out the top and re-weld or the way I went which was to add a removable gasketted plate in the bottom. It worked for me, that is not to say it is a good "Diy" approach. I've did this mod on crushing plant and hydraulic tanks on other old equipment. Link me or video 👍

If you take the dashboard put you can access the fuel tank from the top.
