- Zack Owens is Demolitia for life. Zack thanks so much for the fine work this past weekend. I'm praying for complete healing, both physically and mentally, for you and the others involved. Thank you to our law enforcement officers who are out there risking their lives daily on our behalf. I will #backtheblue til I die.

Update: 7:01PM - First of all, I would like to thank everyone for the continued prayers and reaching out to check on Zack. Thank you Bill Kent for getting us here! I would also like to thank Kenny and Taylor for making the trip, being our rock and helping to take care of Z. I would also like to Thank our friends and family, Eric Zamora, Erica, Neil Truex, Stephen Truex, Aleasha McCullough and Robert Friedrichs for traveling so far to be here with all of us...Zack you are loved!!!!
Zack is out of surgery, he has had some soup and some salad with proteins (Egg/Chicken). Surgery didn’t go as we were hoping. However, absolutely no regrets about getting him here as the medical team are very professional, organized and communicate very well. The shrapnel severed the optic nerve and destroyed any hope of restoring Zacks vision. Prior to surgery Zack agreed for the dr to do whatever he felt was best, and he did! We were updated continuously throughout the surgery. Although the outcome isn’t what we had hoped for, he is feeling much better! He had started feeling pressure on his sinuses and upper teeth, the procedure corrected the pressure issue. Now we focus on his full recovery for left hand, right arm and eye. I will forever be thankful that his life was spared! Zack, you have a purpose son, I love you with all my heart💙
It’s unfortunate about the eye and hurts to hear . But zack is a hero! He will allways be hero! And his a rockstar no matter what!

I don’t know you Zack, but thanks for your sacrifices brother. Life changes and they can be tough to deal with but sounds like you have a great support system much the same as I did and continue to have while going through life changes. I was injured as well and as a result, God and family have seen me through a lot.

Everything you’ve done, the graduation of those Marines, support to Zach, is just heartwarming. YOU are the true definition of an American, no, a human. We should treat each other as humans, even cops, because even though they stand behind the blue line, the still bleed red and have a heart and families, so we should treat each other the same way.
