- Hey, everyone! Thanks for checking out my video. I know all the silver sisters out there want shining, healthy hair. I wanted to share some products that work for me, including some new products on the scene. I have tried them on my curly hair and when my hair is blown out straight.

Thanks for your comment, Karen! I also realized I used a full head int on half of my hair of the oil-so it was heavier than it needed to be. A lighter touch would have been a better demonstration -habits! 🥴 thanks again for your super kind words. 💖
I had curly hair as a toddler that went straight early on. Since menopause, my hair is curly again. I’ve decided to not only embrace my curly hair but ditched the dye. I’m 200 days in since my last color. Per your recommendation, I’ve been using Aveda and Curl Manifesto. I love these products. They are so nourishing! 😊

You look phenomenal as always! I’m loving the dark blue top (that colour really suits you) curly hair look! I need to find a way to add some shine to my hair. The only thing I miss from colouring my hair was the amazing shine it gave me.
But at the same time, I’ve gotten more hair compliments lately than I ever got when my hair was coloured!
Thank you for the sweet compliment? Shelley 💖💖 I know what you mean about that salon shine. My stylist often gave me a glaze treatment after coloring. I do love this Goldie Locks serum-there are others out there that do this same thing. Sometimes you just want to gleam 🌟

Hello, Rene! 💖 I was noticing that the Goldie Locka side looked better when I was editing, too. It’s very interesting because the feeling to the touch was heavier, but the hair looked lighter. I do plan to repurchase this product.

I have shorter hair than you but maybe a bit more curl. I wash every week to ten days. I occasionally use purple shampoo. I use Mixed Chicks sometimes their conditioner and sometimes their leave in. I use dry oil and sometimes a mist of water to revitalize the bounce and shine. I use Kuene curl cream sometimes. It acts like your hair balm. I use Nuxe in the Neroli scent to give my hair a shine and my hair a lift.
Love these suggestions-I always love to hear about lines I’ve never tried. I would love to get 10 days between washes, but I seem to build too much oil. I’m pushing it by day five.

Thank you for being such an inspiration. I recently had my hair dyed and bleached and it completely fried my hair. I felt so silly paying a $400 dollars to damage my hair. All to cover the little bit of gray I have. I am done coloring my hair!

My hair is coarse and wavy and loves a lot of products most of the time. I do need to clarify every once and a while. Your hair is stunning btw. I wish I looked like you gray. No go. I normally like curl creams but lately I’m experimenting with layering a bunch of light sprays and lotions. Kind of like I do with skincare. So far I like it. I also have to prepoo with oil or something. Every time I don’t all hell breaks loose. New subscriber btw peace ✌️

Those are awesome products and your hair looks absolutely amazing. I’m still experimenting with different products to see what works best for my wavy/curly hair. I bought quite a few of the minis from Pattern, Not your Mothers curl gel and foam, the Kerastase curl manifesto defining gel cream and Shu Uemura hair mousse etc. it’s a work in progress 😁👩🏻🦳🌷 have a great week 🌺🌷

Hi, Libby 💖 I know people recommend that we do t go to bed with wet hair but it works so well for me. I usually lay down a towel on my pillow and pull my hair up off of my neck and let my hair ga “above” my head. It can be a little rowdy when I wake up but I can usually get it in relative order with some styling products like these ones. 🥰😘
I have the same pattern of curls and like the spray and “cream” the best. I immediately saw the difference. I use innersence quiet calm curl control. I like it my daughter uses the conditioner of that company and she has more surly than me. I also use daily bil elixir twice a week. It helps with hair growth and my curls are amazing the first day then it looks greasy after that. I flatten my hair after sleeping on it once 🤦🏼♀️ therefore I have to mist it daily but the frizz comes in. I will get that spray and see how it works for me. Thanks for sharing your experience. Hello! 🥰😘 thank you so much for your product suggestion! Yeah, no matter what on day two or three I have frizz-I don’t think the shine spray will totally reset your curls, but it does truly add lovely shine. 💖 I’m so glad you’re here!

Okay, I'm curious about all of these now! I went gray during the pandemic and absolutely love it. I'm also going to look at the Loreal Detox products. I realize looking at your beautiful hair that mine needs a bit of attention. I needed a new way to look at a few things as far as caring for it, thank you!! Lost almost all of it & turned almost completely silver etc. Between B1 & 2 & rosemary oil. I have shoulder length hair to work with. Having to work with other colors for lipstick, clothes. Dont want chemicals from dye due to Covid Brain. Just want to look put together a little bit. You have given me inspiration! Thank you so much. Just found your channel & subscribed. You silver is beautiful! Did you say you no longer use a purple shampoo? I’m a year dye free and pretty close to all grown out. Noticing the purple shampoo really sticks to the white parts of my hair. I’m very careful how long I keep it on and only use every couple of weeks. Maybe I will try the cherry almond.
Hi Janie! Thanks so much! Yes, I very rarely use purple shampoo now. I actually mostly use the Cherry Almond because it’s gentle and nourishing, but if I start to notice yellowing or discoloration, I’ve been using L’Oreal’s Metal Detox shampoo (I have a review of that, too) to lift out deposits. I use that maybe every fourth or fifth wash. It’s drying so I always follow up with a good deep conditioner. 😘😘
