I have a question for people reading this comment what do you think about people that say it's All about Love they feel that God is All about Love is that right yes or no
I used to go to calvary chapel in West Covina and listen to this guy. He would say "We don't want your money, take your money and go to McDonalds." He was insulting. He also thought he was real cute. Always. He spoke with contempt and acted like he was a pretty boy that every one wanted to hear him. I quit going after about a month. He was really bad except for those who patronized him.
Hmmm something seems very wrong about what you are saying. I could be wrong, but his talk here is about deception. Are you being deceived, trying to deceive? When he cries because of his love of Christ and people, and when his life got changed from what it was, I would have to say he’s very genuine, and I have never heard anyone speak ill of him.
@@kchill3800 I'm speaking only for myself. I realize a lot of people love him. The Calvary Chapel was full the few times I went. It was not for me, his portraying him self as a cute kid and his dismissal of what we could do with our money was not what I went there for. It suited everyone else though and that's fine. Am I being deceived trying to deceive? I said exactly how I felt, how is that deceiving? Now, you say he cries because... I agree with you what he is thinking, that he loves Christ and People but he won't/did not go an extra mile to keep Shabbat, the Festibles and kosher. He taught conventional Christianity, a free ride without responsibilities. I was just starting at that time, those responsibilities I had not yet learned. Glad I left Calvary Chapel. I always wondered how someone like him can dismiss the Tenak (old tesitment) and say, though indirectly, "we have a new Gd, we don't have to keep the old cammandments". Raul Ruiz was well aware of this and he continued to teach conventional Christianity. Why not, it pays well.
@@davidrojas5319 If you listen to all of his sermons you will know that he speaks truth and the word of God Listen to the Holy Spirit. Don't judge someone until you thoroughly investigate them. Usually when he speaks it is convicting .
@@debbiemieraodonoghue9428 My criticism is about his stile of preaching. He often referred to his childhood, about how cute he was. I was only there about 5 times and he did that each time I was there. All kids are cute, he should not have used that in his sermons. He also said each time "we don't need your money, go to macdonalds." Thats not a direct quot, but it's meaning is accurate. Now, about him speaking the truth. Did he mention how much the church has fallen away from worshiping on the Sabbath instead of Sun? Did he mention keeping the Sabbath at all? What he taught was conventional Christianity. A new Gd, a new message, different from the old testiment. That my friend is not the truth. Though may be well intentioned, it also PAYS WELL and makes everyone love him. He has gotten his reward, paid in full.
I went to CC West Covina for years, his church grew, followed to Diamond Bar, ended up at CC Westminster; Ron Wilkins is the head Pastor. They all were taught under Chuck Smith, all from bad backgrounds. I've seen them grow tremendously/come a long way. I know you have the right to say what you feel, I personally don't see it and NO, I don't follow or 'worship' Raul, lol. I only follow JESUS. I just feel, from the way he was to now, he's grown so much. He does teach the word without watering it down like a lot of churches do today. They condone stuff that is not biblical where Raul says it like it is.
