that deep tone is from the factory h pipe with 4 cats the exhaust pulses are slowed down alot. the sound will change with off road mid pipe or 2 high flow cats and will get much louder and wont be as deep and mellow.
is that a good kit for a 2001 v6??? I think the borla atake is better sound.

Post the Steeda's for the New Edges. I get people coming up to me all the time inquiring about my exhaust and the off road H pipe. Seems not to many people know about the Steeda's and that they are made by Borla either.

My shop charged me two hours labor, so not much. I paid $180, but I had more than just the cat-back installed, we did the catted H-pipe as well, so maybe cheaper for just a cat-back.

This is confusing. The video title shows '94-'04 but the description says '99 and up. Which is it? I've got a '98 GT.
What would be a good exhaust setup for a 2003 v6? I wana do a complete exhaust system swap, headers and everything. I just don’t know what would sound good. What is on it now is fairly loud and sounds good I just want it louder.
Would I still need to cut the original exhaust if it had the mufflers already deleted?
hey Bill I got some magnapacks for my 00 GT, and I'm really wanting to have them welded in behind the axle. a local shop in town said they could do that and I'm just curious as to how different it would change the sound compared to being welded where they're supposed to? any idea?

This doesn't sound right. The borla on my 2000 was way louder after installation. Maybe it's just the video not capturing the sound

what size are the new bolts you put on?
I like drone. That's why I put the flowmaster super 10 on my truck. why wouldn't you want to hear your mufflers ? That's the reason why you put them on there in the 1st place. you don't put an aggressive exhaust system on your vehicle NOT to hear it, Jeesh.

I got my first car it's a 2002 mustang v6. I want a new exhaust because the one it has on is all rusted and gross. I don't want to pay like 300 bucks to change it to dual

How is the drone on this
None at all
While the Borla stingers seem to have less drone than the Magnaflow catback I had, I wouldn't say there is none. These are pretty loud inside the cabin of my 2003 Cobra with stock h-pipe. Not punishing, but there are times I let off the throttle when having conversation with passenger.

Only reason its deep is the cats, Catless setups on 2valves sound like a broken trumpet and complete garbage.
