I honestly feel like any time Bill wants to be "real" with the listener he just uses a simple and powerful chord progression.
Lets you focus on the words rather than what's bombarding your ears... tonally speaking.
back in highschool my physics teacher would play the w.e.e.k.e.n.d. song and it always filled the classroom with the most "groovy" feeling. Your songs aren't the same style but I get that same "groovy" feeling listening to them. Makes it feel like somethings going to be alright

I swear, Bill's songs and music videos work exactly like my brain does. I start with a concise point in my head and it spirals into something unintelligible, yet the point is still there. The most random images pop into my head and I somehow connect everything back to my original point.

What I love about Bill is he's the only major RUclipsr who appears to just have fun making these videos instead of just following numbers. Like looking at his music videos he adopts new styles at random and experiments with new things all the time. I love it. He is like a kid in his bedroom just having fun.

I think Bill has gotten really good at writing songs that seem nonsensical at first, butf you think about the lyrics for a minute as well as the styles and tones he uses, you see that he has a specific point to each song. Like for this one, I think it's about how much time you have left in life and thinking about what you're going to do with it. And that's just my interpretation, I'm sure there are a bunch of other valid ones that people can come up with
