Anyone who has a little bit of knowledge about pregnancy knows that the first trimester is a very fragile period. You can miscarry very easily during this time, because of genetic abnormalities or any issues with the mother/fetus (something known as chemical pregnancy?). That is the reason why, EVERYONE, not only the stars, choose to announce AFTER the first trimester has passed (first 12 weeks / 100 days or whatever). You don't want to announce and have everyone getting excited, then something happened and you miscarried, and everyone started bugging you while you are trying to stay private and grief. Sigh.
