The group c cars are based from F1 chassis of tamiya. The reality is that its an F1 masquerading as a Pan car. Almost bought the c11 when it was offered to me a few years back at 150$ I kinda regret not getting it because it was the last one on the shelf. I do have a pan car. The 1/12 rm01. Raced it and it couldn't even keep up with tuned tt02s. Alas, its the best stepping stone when getting into pan cars. Because pan cars sit very low to the ground, you have limited adjustability, very low tolerance with the slightest bumps which makes them near useless on rough surfaces.
I have the 787b and Mercedes c11 new in box. I’d love to build them but I can’t bring myself to remove the plastic wrap from the boxes. They’ve been in my closest for years. I got a carbon roller 787 coming from Amazon this afternoon and castle electronics will be here tomorrow. Hopefully it’s not so nice that I don’t wanna run it either..
Lol, you sound a lot like me. The good thing about the RLAARLO is that it's not rare and parts are readily available. Also, it'll definitely perform better than the tamiya kits.
@@allscalerc well I got the 787, the body is nothing like a tamiya body but it does fit the chassis perfectly so I ordered a clear replacement to paint myself along with some original tamiya 787b decals.
I have about 7 Tamiya's built, from a while back before I started my channel. I will probably build some eventually. I've just been tied up on bigger projects. Thank you for watching. 👍👍👍👍
I race tamiya c group cars and are very fast stock are 55 k p /h But with brushles go 105 m /h. But r larlo is a Toyota tamiya is a rolls. I race this cars for 30 year and are incredible race cars, but you have to be good with the reflex Hy from El Salvador central América. Nice program.
I like the Tamiya group c chassis. It's really light and doesn't take much power to go fast. The RLAARLO isn't bad it's just not as track focused as the group c. Tamiya looks way better. Muchas gracias.👍👍👍👍
Thanks much appreciated. I just subbed to your channel. Cool stuff!! hopefully, yours comes in soon. I just ordered a third one. Can't beat them for the price.
@@EdisonRCWorkshop FERRARI 330 P4 - 1967 LE MANS and the Porsche 917 long tail psychedelic Hippie (purple and lime green). I haven't seen either of the 2 in RC cars.
The tamiya body is a way more scale outline and paint job. But yeah the Tamiya group c chassis is basically a 30 year old pan car kit lol. The rlaarlo is an awesome street basher/speed machine, the tamiya is a shelf queen for sure

Btw, it pronounces as "ta - miya", not "tama -ya"
@howintesting940 Thanks. I appreciate you watching. Lol, I get it right occasionally.
Dont you build your TAMIYA cars or just keep as bought? Rlaarlo looks good but im in uk so costly to import

Rlaarlo racer for go, tamiya shelf queen for no go in my opinion
100% agree 👍 thank you for watching.
@@allscalerc i enjoy watching as no editing just being natural and doing what you do best love it
Good review. 👍
Thanks, I appreciate you watching.
The Rlaarlo looks better, the Tamiya looks cheaply made.
Chassis wise, yes. The RLAARLO is definitely the better car.
@@allscalerc I even like Rlaarlo paint better.
@@jeffdavis6715 I'm a big fan of the actual race car, so I lean towards the Tamiya, but the RLAARLO does use nice metalics.
