My guy. Love the build. Wanted to mention, no need for spacers. If you remove the aluminum brake pads the tires fit, staggered. At most you can trim a mm off of the support arm. But, that’s it. If you pay close attention it’s the aluminum bit that catches the inside of the wheel well. Best Got my subscription
Nice car! I have a suggestion on how you can mount your antenna wire to make it parallel to the car and body. First, get an antenna tube, second get a antenna bracket holder and last get a plastic ball end peice used in a tie rod or bottom of a shock. First you mount the ball end plastic piece to the car and then where a ball end goes in the plastic piece, you mount a bracker holder there and the tube and then the antenna will be parallel to the car and body. And now you would not need to worry about the wires hitting anything. If only YT can show pics on these comments so I can show how I did it to mine. But I also have a video of my setup on my car, 'Xpress Road Runner' You can see how I mounted my antenna and other wires. Also with your heatshink, you should heatt up the sleeve abit to make it abit smaller and to make it look more cleaner than it is now. I also use heatshrink to hide my wires as well. So nice car and video!
How do you feel about the F series motor? How many T motor teeth do you use? Which gear is used for large gears? The F series motor is a characteristic motor with high speed and low torque! Have you encountered any problems?
NO HAVEN'T TRIED THEM PARTNER... I'M USING MOD 1 ON THAT ONE[AK-787] 35/24 GEARS. ACTUALLY IT'S HANDLING WAY BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD, ONCE I GOT IT ALL DIALED IN. I FLIPPED ON ME ONCE, SO I HAD TO ADJUST THE REAR SPOILER, AND SET MY SHOCKS UP, I THINK IT'S GOOD NOW. TOMORROW I MAY STEP OUT UP TO 6S...
Great video. thanks. Doing research, it appears that Rlaarlo is having HUGE issues in customer support, shipping products in a timely fashion, and not replying to emails or inquiries. What has your experience been like? Product looks cool, but company sounds like it is... sketchy? thanks.
Partner, I don't even try to deal with them, most of them have sketchy customer service. Products good, getting parts is pretty good, I get parts from them, and I get parts from Amazon., pretty prompt service.
HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO REALLY STRETCH IT OUT YET THOUGH, IN THINKING IT'S HITTING AROUND 105/108 THE WAY IT IS. WE'RE GONNA STEP IT UP TOMORROW TO SIX
Haven't stretched it out yet, but my last set up that was very similar, had about 145/150 in it. I have put it at 127 at around 64% throttle. We will see soon, weather's been rainy around here lately, just waiting for some dry weather partner.
ACTUALLY IT WAS THAT ONE, DIDN'T REALIZE WHICH ONE YOU WE'RE TAKING ABOUT AT FIRST, THAT ONE HIT 140 ALREADY, AT 97% THROTTLE, IT WAS STILL CLIMBING WHEN IT WENT OFF THE RD. VIDEOS ON MY PAGE
@@thrc465 ahh man. I learned first hand just how quick speed runs can abruptly become expensive. I just got into RC a couple months ago. Never owned any RC, but always liked them. I started w/Tamiya Tt02RR. Now I just got a vendetta I’m trying to crack into 100s on stock esc and motor.
@michaelrittenhouse2544 YOU CAN WITH THE STOCK MOTOR, THE ESC NEEDS TO BE CHANGED, GET YOU A 150AMP, PREFERABLY A SPECTRUM 150A,I PROMISE YOU'LL SEE WELL OVER 100.THAT WAS MY FIRST SPEEDRUN CAR, ALL I CHANGED WAS THE ESC, PUT THAT SAME 3900 KV MOTOR ON 6S, AND PUT SOME SILVERS [WHEELS] ON, THOSE STOCK WHEEL WON'T HOLD
I'VE LOOKED AT THE 4TEC QUITE A FEW TIMES, THAT'S ONE I DON'T HAVE, BUT I'M THINKING ON IT. I WOULDN'T MIND DOING A SPEEDRUN BUILD WITH ONE. THERE'S A LOT I LIKE ABOUT IT.
