Thanks!
In this video I do a pretty good set-up of the Rlaarlo AK-787, and found some problems along the way... Also I never got a gyro working. LOL
It is a good car, but gotta remember to charge my GPS to get a speed on it. Just estimating from experience, I think it is running near 100 km/hr in the video. Never hit full throttle though.
Excellent video!! I just subscribed to your channel. ❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
Do you have the aluminum hubs? Also the upper rear suspension links are very weak, but you can use the upper front suspension in the rear also and ditch those weak turnbuckles. Ive btoke those turnbuckles 3 times but since i put the aluminum front upper suspension in the rear its strong and holds for those 100 mph runs. Cool video!
My car has all the aluminum parts. Have ordered another set of the rear hubs. See if the tolerance is better. Might get a set of the front turnbuckles for the rear too. Thanks for the tip!
@@Triggered-RCThe front upper aluminum suspension arms fit in the back. You can put them where the turnbuckles are and I guarantee you will never break one again! I really don't get why they even used the turnbuckles. Lol
Man what are those things you connected to the wheel for alignment? I use a cheap angle finder but those look way more accurate
Also when you first pulled it out was that stuttering or what? I only ask because at times my custom redcat lightning epx drift does the same thing and was trying to find a fix but never did
A 4D set up system from Arrowmax. Bought the set when I used to race on track. A little expensive but works well. They have new ones if you check their website out.
When I first pulled out my new gyro was acting up. I run that on several other cars and never had that issue. Not sure what is up with it. The one that came with the kit from Dumbo RC had the same issue. Anyway, since the car tracks straight on its own, not sure ai really need a gyro anyway.
love your car I am trying to find one, what site did you get yours
I bought it from the company directly on Taobao.
Um thinking, you got into the 100 mph realm!
Need to remember to charge my speed analyzer next time. 😂
Great! You can replace the gear ratio and motor KV to try modification!
Will do. Not super confident in those ESC’s I bought though. Might buy a couple Hobbywing MAX6s instead.
nice car
It is nice, runs well in a straight line for sure. However it is so jam packed with electronics, it’s a real beast to work on. Single motor will go just as fast and would be way easier to service.
I appreciate your honesty! @@Triggered-RC
hmm i missed this video but oh boy its fast
Did u find the screw ?
No luck on finding the screw. Car is repaired and upgraded now. Just waiting for a nice day to run it again with a charged gps this time. Lol
You might want to double up the rear springs to keep it front squatting! It works buddy!
Good idea!
Do your ESC'S flash??? Mine still runs but both ESC's flash after i hit the throttle a few times...
I haven’t noticed that. I’ll check it out.
@Triggered-RC come to find out 1 of the batteries are bad!!! Hopefully this is my flashing issue with the ESC'S.
Can you recommend me any tools? Im just starting out. Ill look into those camber gauges unless you think there are better ones.
Most of my tools are Arrowmax. Not cheap, but the best I have owned. Had cheaper wrenches, but the edges wore off in a year. Been using arrowmax ones for about 3 years and they are fine.
Can you post a link for the foam ryres proeuct?
The gyro is only helpful for drifting.
It also is helpful for speed running/drag racing to keep the car straight
I find they're also helpful for speed runs, though if they're set too high they do produce a speed wobble.!
