Thank you so much for your videos. I have been looking for this one for years, it's proper title is "The Dawning" It is the last ever episode of the Lassie series and a piece of television history.
You guys know that there were 2 seasons of "The New Lassie" right? Jon Provost was on alot of them. Tommy Redding was on an episode and so was June Lockhart
They didn't know at the time that the show was ending. Boring as it seemed, in some ways it was a typical Lassie episode. Seeing it nearly 50 years after the fact and watching the camera pan away from Lassie for the final time almost brought a tear to this old man's eyes.

Series finales were not common in 1973. However the slow panning away in the final scene does give it a little feeling of closure.
Whatever happened to the Holdens in the New Lassie? Did they just gave Lassie back to Timmy when he Grew Up?
