I denna ljuva sommartid
gå ut, min själ, och gläd dig vid
den store Gudens gåvor.
Se, hur i prydning jorden står,
se, hur för dig och mig hon får
så underbara håvor.
Av rika löv är grenen full,
och jorden täckt sin svarta mull
med sköna gröna kläder.
De fagra blommors myckenhet
med större prakt och härlighet
än Salomos dig gläder.
När jag hör trastens klara sång,
när lärkan jublar dagen lång
högt ovan fält och backar,
då kan jag icke tiga still.
Min Gud, så länge jag är till
för livet jag dig tackar.

Go forth, my heart, and seek delight,
While summer reigns so fair and bright,
View Earth's abundance daily;
The beauty of these gardens see,
Behold how they for me and thee
Have decked themselves so gaily.
The trees with spreading leaves are blessed,
The earth her dusty rind has dressed
In green so young and tender.
The daffodil and tulip fair
Are clothed in raiment far more rare
Than Solomon in splendor.
The lark soars upward to the skies,
And from her cote the pigeon flies,

beautiful piece, but i gotta ask. Why did you decide to write the score in 6/4 when the meter seems to be common time?
Good question. It certainly looks like it's in 4 through much of the piece, but the subdivisions should definitely be felt in 6. The dotted quarters have a subtle syncopated 2-against-3 feel. It becomes much less subtle once you get to m. 25 (1:20) when there is a clear 2-against-3. But you can see these subdivisions way back in mm. 3 (alto), 4, 6, 8 (soprano) and m. 9+ (tenor), and various other places.
Is there an English translation somewhere? The music is beautiful. I just don’t know what they are singing about.

It's not. Maybe I'll have to consider it. It's really meant to be just a demo recording to sell sheet music to choirs, but they did an amazing job, didn't they?

Ha ha, I'm flattered that anyone noticed! I unlisted it because I recently submitted it to a competition. I'll bring it back, but hopefully with a real recording (or at least a better MIDI one). We'll see! Stay posted.
