one of the nicest guy out there in the field :) it's just when you're doing a lap, you don't blink and have some uncontrollable moves and look serious ;)
Man I am so jealous. I have been practicing for over a year now but my Lightning EPX just can't do stuff like this! I guess I need to take the plunge and get a countersteer drift car. Thumbs up and subbed!
Talk about scaling down! What a track! I use to race 1/10th scale oval track(pan cars). These drift cars are wicked!!! Detailed to the max! Want to get one but don't even know racing brands anymore.?. Any suggestions???
not the best chassis to start, even if it's cheap. no real tuning is possible on them. I would highly recommand yokomo drift package (MR4 type C) for easier start. Lts of tuning option available, an chassis is good from the start :)
I was gonna get a tamiya and I ended up buying the hpi. A lot ppl on the forums recommended the hpi better than the tamiya for beginners. Oh by the way I typed in the yokomo brand on ebay but I couldn't find nothing but a couple of chassis and a lot of parts for it
ToraProds I'm thinking about getting the Vaterra V-100 Silvia S15 to start building something nice I was wondering what do you think about that car and chassis?
Ah thank you! If like to get one but there's just so many options its a bit confusing right now. Seems like all the major companies have at least 1 to offer for drifting. Traxxas being probably the cheaper end of the spectrum?
What's a website where I can get RC drift cars for cheap maybe not full body and chassis maybe chasis and then I can find a body I want to get into it but I don't know any reliable websites thanks in advance man appreciate it videos looks good!
I can only point you to two drifting forums, as they answer questions way better than I could. If you want to go 4WD, go to driftmission forum If you want to go the manly RWD way, go to rwdrcdriftworld forum :)
which forum? or between 4WD and RWD? as a RWD converted man, I can only tell you that RWD is "easier" when you didn't have any 4WD experience before, so might as well start with the RC Drift future and go for RWD!! Yokomo MR4 type C (Drift Package) should be your chassis of choice!
ToraProds Hey, I'm also planning on starting this as my new hobby. I've been reading alot about different types of rc's. Brushed, brushless and those sorts of things, but i'm really not sure what would be the best to start with? On alot of the bigger RC websites i pretty much see that the more "popular" rc cars are 4WD. Give me a few tips as well?
This is kinda one sided, but why do drifting cars need full aluminum parts? I can see like an a-arm breaking, but why custom shock towers and the like?
Because it looks good and stuff.... some people care more about how their chassis look than how it handles. full optioned parts of the same color on a chassis is a must for certain people. (I am not of these! Function > form)
tt-01 is fine for beginning. Yokomo Drift package (MR-4) is also good, both for beginners and top players. it is also really easy and efficient to convert it to RWD!
i recommend 4WD if your starting off. 2WD chassis are more expensive and hard to find and its a challenge to master it. Even though some of these cars are 2WD 4WD also preforms great!. If you have a small budget i suggest starting with some HPI's or Tamiyas. They're pretty good. If you looking for a bit more sophisticated ones cheapest option would be Sakura D3. There actually really good chassis for $100. If you want good and expensive ones try MST or Yokomo. :)
learn how to set your camera right for video you guys. frame rate and shutter speed both have values that are industry standard to have it look right. 1/50th on the shutter speed at 24 fps, and if thats a canon DSLR (just a guess from the footage) the native ISO is 800, so it should be set there and exposure should be fixed with ND filters and f-stop.
hello guys i was wondering if somebody could help me. i have a hpi rs4 evo3 and i like to turn it into a drift car. so my question is . where can i find parts for my plan? body ? wheels? and other cool stuf!!

Yokomo Drift package (MR-4) is also good, both for beginners and top players. it is also really easy and efficient to convert it to RWD!

What are the best RTR drift cars? I'm not very experienced with RC cars and will hate to stuff them up considering the price.
Da Hora Muleque............................
How much would these cars go for? Possibly the blue s13 with the lights and stuff?
How much do drifting rcs cost, and how fast are they?
Wow great music you used for this; what's it called?
Those s13 rcs are fucking clean
0:01 OMG! That car is sooo nice! Is that car for drifting too? Or it is only standing model?
The cars have to be drifting to be presented in the show. so yes, this car is drifting also :)
ToraProds ff
I want to start this it look really fun where do you guys get the cars from??
Dope !
What do think about the HPI sprint 2 for a beginner?
not the best chassis to start, even if it's cheap. no real tuning is possible on them.
I would highly recommand yokomo drift package (MR4 type C) for easier start. Lts of tuning option available, an chassis is good from the start :)

ToraProds I'm thinking about getting the Vaterra V-100 Silvia S15 to start building something nice I was wondering what do you think about that car and chassis?
anyone know what scale these cars are? I think the video makes them larger than they are??
scale is 1:10
so from front wheel to back wheel distance is usually 250-280mm
Ah thank you! If like to get one but there's just so many options its a bit confusing right now. Seems like all the major companies have at least 1 to offer for drifting. Traxxas being probably the cheaper end of the spectrum?
+Ricky Pelland2 didn't even know traxxas makes drift cars. I can only recommend sakura d3 or yokomo mr4 type C as well as the new yokomo yd2
Ricky Pelland2 i think top bit iT is à really Nice video
Ricky Pelland2
Nice!
Good Luck
Why do people put music on these incredible videos? I want to hear their tiny engines revving up a storm.
is there a certain surface you need to drift?
What's a website where I can get RC drift cars for cheap maybe not full body and chassis maybe chasis and then I can find a body I want to get into it but I don't know any reliable websites thanks in advance man appreciate it videos looks good!
Holy crap i dont see plastic there all aluminium xD how much fuckin money they spent gosh

You might as well mount the wheels sideways. If there were bugs, you would see them on the side windows.
:D

Add eurobeat music here...
DEJA VU!
Can you give me some pointers on where to start? Like all the parts I need and how I would build it?
I can only point you to two drifting forums, as they answer questions way better than I could.
If you want to go 4WD, go to driftmission forum
If you want to go the manly RWD way, go to rwdrcdriftworld forum :)
Which one would be better for going sideways?
which forum? or between 4WD and RWD? as a RWD converted man, I can only tell you that RWD is "easier" when you didn't have any 4WD experience before, so might as well start with the RC Drift future and go for RWD!!
