Good job, guys! It may not be by the book but I admire your skill and ingenuity in getting the truck going again with your limited resources. Well done!
It is amazing how it goes for the people who got minimal tools and parts and the kid is a class act he was there the whole way thru and did not skip a beat wow if only American kids did the same it would be so much better if they put down the vedio games and trying to figure out if they are a boy or girl wtf !!!!
Has anyone else noticed nearly all of these engines have sealer everywhere, meaning they are being stripped on a regular basis. It would be interesting to know the mileage between strip downs.
I noticed on the strip down the head gaskets were semi new and I've noticed on other videos they use water in the cooling system rather than antifreeze, I guess that's why engines fail relatively quickly, the rust coming from the radiator cap says it all.
Believe it or not, i watched 2 guys do an inframe on a truck in the parking lot of a Pilot truck stop in Tolleson,AZ back in the late 90's or early 2,000's. It was a caterpillar engine, they tore it down one afternoon, & came back the next day to put it back together. They had a re-maned head, even new sleeves & pistons. That wouldn't happen these days, most truckstops don't allow 3rd party repairs
@@creativeskills1666 i must say, i was surprised to see them lubricate the internal parts like they did. Some of the videos i see, they put the engines back together with cobbled parts, & put them back together dry😧 It's good to see them do a good job😆😆
amazing , dont know how you do it , no bench , just on the floor in all the ol shit , still goes though, good viewing chaps , love watching your videos chaps , regards from the UK
guys decent job with what you have and honestly over here in the in connecticut we do jobs like that all day long so if you want to see a cheap and easy and i mean cheap!!!! with hardly any cash look me up and ill tell you.
i must give these guys credit for what they do with limited access to modern equipment, but there is no denying, you can only patch a turd so many times until its declared shit.when you abuse your equipment the way these drivers do, id make them run shit equipment too.when they learn how to USE & not ABUSE equipment, they might actually get equipment that isnt thrown togather with spare parts from previous jobs.
Either North american engine shop goes bananas with assembly lube, measures, torque either this engine Will selfdestruct in the 100 first RPM . Im just speechless.
Who needs a torque wrench when working on a motor (especially diesel) just tighten all bolts VFT n hope it doesn't detenate into a pile of scrap!... But hey on the bright side at least it was timed n the oil pump was primed ready for it's failure!
how long did that truck have to sit beside the road? Was it a couple days or what? What the hell was that little boy doing working on putting that engine back in that truck? That is too dangerous for a 10 or 11 year old kid to be messing around with. I don’t give a shit who’s kid he is or wha the child labor laws are, he shouldn’t be there. He needs his little ass in school somewhere. These are the videos that I like to watch though where it shows the truck messed up, the removal, repair, the motor put back in and showing it starting back up full of life. Other than the little boy in it, this was a pretty good video.
I suppose there's no time for a torque wrench when doing an engine rebuild while you wait! Just about every step of that 'rebuild' would be bad practice in more advanced countries. Must be just a case of getting the job done I suppose.
If this was in Africa some dush bag was going to complain about child exploitation but it's in India so we pretend we don't see the child and probably claim that he is learning the craft of being a mechanic

Excellent team
What great work
Hat's off to the hard working people
Has anyone else noticed nearly all of these engines have sealer everywhere, meaning they are being stripped on a regular basis. It would be interesting to know the mileage between strip downs.
Because of the poor standard of repairs I would say very often
Every oil change
sealer is cheaper than gaskets
I noticed on the strip down the head gaskets were semi new and I've noticed on other videos they use water in the cooling system rather than antifreeze, I guess that's why engines fail relatively quickly, the rust coming from the radiator cap says it all.

Rough roads obviously take their toll on haulage! Which is good news for these guys!

What did that truck do that its crankshaft broke that way? 😦
Engine oil is too late so that why engine destroyed
Exelente e increíble trabajo, saludos cordiales desde México
They are awesome. One thing though not 1 torque wrench
Good job and a good film.
Thank you
awesome!!!!job...realy hard working people...god bless you all.......
Thanks 💞
I would have thought they would have welded the crank just like they show in one of the other videos.😂
No torque wrenches were harmed in the making of this video
You think when they are pulling on that pull bar they go "click" when its tight in there heads? More than likely they have never seen a torque wrench
their elbows click when proper torque is reached.
Excellent 👍👍👍

@@creativeskills1666 that’s actually not too bad for a complete engine rebuild.
We do not need a freaking torque wrench, just tighten by hand to create a gernade
and i wont even charge you for what you should already know.
I suppose there's no time for a torque wrench when doing an engine rebuild while you wait! Just about every step of that 'rebuild' would be bad practice in more advanced countries. Must be just a case of getting the job done I suppose.
Sanding the heads like that leads to headgasket failure, they didn't even lap the Valves, and dropping the camshaft on the ground... oof

The same here in the US. Alot of reports of child labor.
