In the Philippines and Thailand, the main characters are all foreign faces, and the working laborers and housekeepers use their own faces. Why? This is not possible in Korea or Japan.
All the Filipino dramas that aired in Thailand were aired also in my country Indonesia. I love to watch Pangako Sa'yo, Bridge of Love, On the Wings of Love, etc. The plots are not much different from Indonesian sinetron/soap operas. But, I was amazed seeing Philippines culture is not much different with Indonesian culture, like when a younger family kissing hands to older people. That's why Indonesian people are interested to see Filipino dramas. FYI, Philippines actors are very famous here in Indonesia, such as: James Reid, Teejay Marquez, Daniel Padilla, Jericho Rosales, Alden Richards, and Derrick Monasterio.

I love watching without dubbing in order to learn Filipino/Tagalog language. Surprisingly there are so many similar or even same words in Tagalog and Bahasa Indonesia with the same meaning, for examples lalaki, buaya, bukas, anak, kanan, Ako/aku, etc.

I worked on ABS CBN before, and maraming talented writers ang nagpapasa ng mga story na out of the box ang story, pero hindi nabibigyan ng pansin ng management. Isang kwarto yun na punong puno ng mga manuscript. Alam niyo reason? Hindi daw kasi pangmasa. Tingin ng kumpanya sa mga viewers nila mga mangmang at di makakaintindi ng malalim na storya.
Yang PBB, farm yan ng mga Philam o mga half half na slang magtagalog tapos artista na kinabukasan.

Guys....I'm from India, and let me tell you...that Indonesian Sinetron, Pinoy Dramas, Thai Lakorns, Indian Serials are all very much similar. I watch all of them given that I do understand Bahasa, Tagalog, Thai and Hindi....And trust me when I say that...they all worth watching and enjoying depending on the type of genre and story line you prefer....

Not only in Thailand, but also in my country, Indonesia. All Philippines dramas are good, I think. The stars are very good looking. The language is very familiar and similar to Bahasa Indonesia, my country official language.

Edit** sa mga bobong nagsasabi na baka sa TV ko lng ang hindi HD, alam ko na may HD channels. Ang pinaguusapan dito is ung standard format sa regular channels. Sa ibang bansa binasura na SD format. Sa atin hindi, kelangan mo pa ng kung ano ano para maging HD. Hindi porket na fill ng picture yung TV mo eh HD na yun. Minsan SD lang yun na inistretch. Kaya nga mukhang hamburger yung mga mukha ng artista sa TV plus at sa regular channel eh kasi binatak para magkasya sa screen mo. Hindi porket HD TV mo, HD na rin ang palabas na pinapakita niyan. Kahit pa 4k or 8k yan.
Pwede ba minsan wag apakan utak.

I’m proud they aired Filipino drama in Thailand, thank you🙏 and let’s give a big applause as well to the whole team for giving these dramas the best Sound Track🤍 We must admit that Thai have the best songs as well its just that some of us are not used to their accents but let me tell you this, at first I’m not really into Thai Lakorn and music because I have an accent shock but when you get used to their language and accents damn! You will start to find them cute and adorable and funny because of the humor their artists give then eventually you will start to learn basic Thai language and even songs!✨

Actually "La Luna Sangre" is the 3rd drama from a trilogy series. The first one is from Angel Locsin, which is supposed to be the grandmother of Malia, but then since she is also the one who portrayed in the 2nd drama, which is "Lia" she is also the mother of Malia, character wise. The first drama is titled "LOBO" and the 2nd one is "IMORTAL". I suggest you watch from LOBO to fully understand the story up to La Luna Sangre.

Cambodia did their own version of Pangako Sayo and Indonesia did their own version of Kadenang Ginto.. Mga Mata ni Angelita and Bridges of Love are the 2 shows catered in Latin America... May Bukas Pa in Latin America was cancelled in unverified reason..

Meanwhile, Filipinos (mostly young people) are crazy with Kdramas. #fact
Because kdramas were like live action ANIME. And, sometimes the actors are unrecognizable from their previous roles and you don't have much any idea about the actors backgrounds and scandalous gossips. Their plastic surgery, culture and atmosphere is more eye pleasing. The series are not very long and you can binge watch them without any commercials. The way they cry is more touching that sometimes could caught you off guard. They cry without looking pretty but looking real devastated and in pain. IDK just my opinion.

And I am a Kdrama avid fan. Honestly, i stopped watching Teleseryes. Our loveteams feels like they require to be real couple to raise or maintain the stardom. 🤔

eh kasi walang katapusang paulit ulit yung plot ng pinoy teleserye. Plot: Pag mabait sayo yung guard/driver ninyo, malamang tatay mo siya. Puro galing mahirap to mayaman/pinagpalit nung pinanganak, amputangina nakakasawa.
