This pattern will be VERY different from what we dealt with last week, with severe weather continuing (but not nearly as significant), and very disorganized disturbances making an appearance! Damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes will be possible. Find the latest details of the weather across the United States in our latest weather forecast.

I'm not certain on the exact time of the following info because the weather got so bad, so fast. It was between 10:15 pm and 10:45 pm last night. A funnel cloud went directly over our house and wrecked a lot of things in our neighborhood. I don't think it ever touched down, but it was treetop level low. I know this because I, our eldest son, and our nephew SAW the thing. I heard it first, then our eldest son did. We and others in the neighborhood had roof and window damage. There were MANY trees down that snapped MANY power poles and lines. It got so bad that our two oldest sons had to fight to hold the front door closed because the wind kept ripping it open. Our youngest son prayed out loud and read passages from his Bible to comfort our family members that were hunkered down in the hall to protect their children (our grandbebes). The power went out of course. We just got it back on an hour ago. This was after the storm earlier this week that damaged our two eldest sons' homes and vehicles. They've been staying with us since then because their homes were damaged. Now our home is damaged. Mother Nature is kicking our collective butts this week.
We live in southeastern Louisiana, btw.

It's not outside the realm of reality they showcased them years ago then Dubai gets flooded showing them off in use. People don't want to think their government would do such things pfft Operation Seaspray & Operation White Noise check em out that's just the tip of the iceberg.

"Discrete cells". What a strange name. Sounds like the supercell is wearing a fedora low over its eyes and peaking out from an alley and saying "PSSST -- Hey bud! Want a cheap flying trailer park?"
I think 'lone wolf supercell' would be better.

What happens in 10 or 20 years when when we have even more heat trapped in the system? Do the storms get stronger? Bigger? Do we have even more of them?

As per usual here in Colorado, no tornados or severe storms. We may get a few thunderstorms in June. But we don't get much of the severe weather here. Only sometimes on the far eastern planes
