The show at the newly renovated Palace Theatre in St. Paul, Minn., will be one of the last chances for fans to see the band perform for a while, as Wilco will take a hiatus from touring for most, if not all, of 2018 to record new material and for individual members to pursue other projects. Thanks for posting these, Dave!
You bet. Thanks for streaming the concert! Looking forward to #BeingThere tonight!
Somebody get this man a beer!
Lol if i had known I would have last night, great show!
Thanks Dave, I was there and this makes navigating easy.
These guys are among the best in the business.
Sublime. I am a better person for watching this. thank you
I’m speechless! More bands need to do this.. Hats off to Wilco for always being groundbreaking in their own way!
Good God Nels absolutely shredded the solo in Impossible Germany. The highlight of the show!
Thanks Current for sharing this gem with us!
This is one of my all time fav songs, but that solo was as sloppy as it gets. I know technique isn't everything when it comes to soloing, I mean Jimmy Page.....enough said but..... just my two cents
Agreed. Love that song, love Nels. But, I just prefer the more "restrained" solos in that song. Sometimes, less is more from Nels, who, in my opinion, sometimes tries to fit 1,000 notes into a space that only required 100.
The Impossible Germany in the 2013 ACL show is pretty rad too: ruclips.net/video/baxQ7Izg1wU/видео.html
Always.
@@AllTerrainFamily best version for me
that moment when Tweedy steps aside for the James Elkington solo during California Stars...just spectacular. then the moment at the end of the song when James looks over to Nels with a wry smile. Thanks to Wilco and The Current for the incredible stream. #couchtour
"Art of Almost" is so intense live. This tour was incredible.
Ooohhh... I ´ve just fell in love!!
@🤘🤘🎸 🌹
Thankful, even GRATEFUL that this is still up. Thank you Current. Much Love.
"Reservations" is so beautifully performed. Amazing show.
God I love this band. Saw them at the Civic Opera in San Diego . Then caught Jeff Tweedy and son at the Balboa Theatre. Opening band was Minus 5 with Peter Buck.
Wilco has been the best band in the world since they started. I challenge anyone to name a band that still tours that is better than Wilco.
Pearl Jam and Wilco are my two faves.
Flaming lips are close
Yo La Tengo too
But Wilco numero uno!
Art of Almost still gives me goosebumps.
Wilco is still the best live rock band in the world.
@🤘🤘🎸 🌹
Thank you to Wilco and The Current for doing this! I’m so thankful I was there for the shows and get to relive Thursday’s - I’m still suffering from a massive reality hangover and don’t expect to get over it soon. I miss the band and my Wilco fan family!!
My God. Nels is incredible.
"I hate Nels Cline" - Mark Kozelek
Love the California Stars....very rocking country jam....very sweet!!!
I love this song. Always a treat to hear them play it when I go see them. Great music to Woody’s beautiful lyrics!
Best band of the last 20 years.
Let's say 25.
No doubt
Great of you Current to give to us,thanks alot.
How can anyone give a thumbs down for this amazing performance? Great sound quality too.
Peter Woodke Because they’re upset they couldn’t make it to the show. This was a painful reminder of what they missed.
I never understand a thumbs down either. They blow me away and agree with the sound quality. Just saw them in St. Louis and the sound was perfect unlike other artists I've seen at the same venue.
Turns out there are always seven odd ducks out there. Loved the show live. Love, love, love this stream! The Nels Cline solo is six minutes of heaven on earth. 1:13 to 1:16.
Exactly!
This is an all-time keeper. I hope The Current is able to keep this video posted forever. I definitely want this as a keepsake! (I was there the night before, but this set was very similar)
This is an amazing set list and a pretty big departure from some of their other 2017 shows.
One of the finest bands in America proving it awesome performance. Nels Cline 🎸 virturuso.
I confess... came here just to hear Impossible Germany, a masterpiece!
Me too.
I honestly would be ok if they never played Impossible Germany or Via Chicago ever again. Both great song but not two of there best song in my opinion. Just my opinion and prefer the less popular songs live for the most part over the super popular stuff.

Thanks to The Current for the flawless live stream and recording! Great sound, camera and lighting throughout. Congrats on a great event. I'd hike my monthly MPR contribution just for the opportunity to see more great shows from The Palace or First Ave, if you can. Watching the sold-out Wilco show across town, live, from home, was well worth it!
That was a fantastic night!!! Thanks, Wilco, James, The Current, and awesome fans!!
Great to see this show live last night and now to re-live it here! This was the middle of three sold-out Wilco shows at the Palace Theatre which is a great venue (managed by First Avenue). Thanks to Wilco for a very interesting and wide-ranging mix of their music and a cool set design, and to the Current for putting together this broadcast!
Great performance by Willco! Kudos to all the sound and video people involved for a top-shelf production!
Thanks for the free webcast, was a great show...See you when you return to the stage Wilco
This is wonderful.
@🤘🤘🎸 🌹
Great tour! 🎉 Milano, Italy was astounding as well
Most impressed with the re-work of Hotel Arizona. Thanks for the free show!!
This is great! Watching on my 55" in stereo! The camera and sound work are awesome! Thankyou!
I did the same last night. Wasn't as good as being there live (I was on Wednesday) but it was DAMN close.
Thanks for giving up the goods! Turning a friend onto Wilco and this was a fine place to start!
I love the stage background that they've used on this tour! They used it in Tulsa when I saw them back in September. The quality of this feed is great. This band just seems to get better with age!
Thank You again 89.3 and to Wilco!!!
Well that would’ve been cool to see... And I’m *_IN_* St. Paul....
RIP me...
Amazing show. Masterful job here by The Current.
Look out! These folks might put L.A. back on the musical map!
Fantastic performance. Thank you whoever streamed this.
Absolutely Brilliant!
How does Wilco put LA back on the musical map? Wilco originated in the St. Louis metro area and resides in Chicago these days.
The sound live was even better!!
That's what I've heard. LIVE is like a transcendental experience. They must be awesome
Well played gentlemen. Good show!
Nels really took some risks here on the guitar solo for Impossible Germany. The man is a LEGEND.
This was an amazing show! Congrats to them!!!!
@🤘🤘🎸 🌹
Was at this show, but up in the less focused balcony. So nice to be able to get an up close look after the fact. Side with the Seeds....my favorite.
Brilliant!!!
Great Concert! I hope to be able to see this band some time in Japan.
I friggin love wilco so much 🎸🎸🎸
I'm reading Jeff's book and came back to this for an aural fix. Wilco is so fucking good!!
Masters.
Hummingbird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you WIlco!
Remember when we were all much younger and Jeff did the running in place thing while swinging the mic during this song?
Still young at heart though!
Nels Cline is the master of making weird noises on a guitar
amazing
Nothing beats Wilco in the Twin Cities.
I used to hate LOCATOR. Now, I loooove it
impresionnat!!!
I got the setlist that night!!!!
Pure talent.
Great!!
Qué banda mas linda locooo
wow Nels was wild; it's a bit sloppier compared to usual solos but i like the intensity
Nels Cline is just an amazing player.
*sandwiching "Reservations" between "Bull Black Nova" and "Impossible Germany" is pure bananas...yet pulled off effortlessly. These guys.💓*
SPIDERS...The Bear season 1 ep 7!!!👏on HULU!!! BRAVO!
turn it up!
ALRIGHT
Best American Rock Band...
Best rock band you can hear nowadays
EVER!!!!!! Live anyway.
Candyfloss was top notch
Love this so much. I wonder what the director has against Pat...
Right? Even when he was soloing they were confused. Was Yuka Honda directing?
I love Tweedy's awkward comments and jokes in this and all the interviews and stuff. Makes him feel like a random dude you ended up next to on the train.
All-Terrain Family aside from the great songwriting ability, he basically is.
You shouldn’t care but I was there.
This is a great song . Someone To Lose 37:45
Full Support
"Candy Floss"...........Tweedy channels his inner Beach Boy.
you guys cut pat out of the whole deal (visually)...mostly. Love ya so....but he's an important thread...for sure. xo love and appreciation.
I need to see more Pat!!
Was it the left shoulder or right?
It's nice to hear the weird version of Kidsmoke back. I liked the mellow version they did for a while, but it's much better as this bizarre kosmic jam.

Here's what part of Spiders sounded like in front of the bar area. The Current's video somehow didn't pick up the audio of the guy to my left, he was great. I'm sure several groups of people behind the bar were trying to carry on conversations during this. Maybe they stopped to see why everybody was singing along?
good god.
why can't I play this video? help!
Does anyone know Y Wilco replaced this arboreal stage design (featured in nearly every live Wilco vid of the past few yrs) w a backdrop of lights for the St. Louis gig prior 2 this one? I was there & surprised it went unused.
I was wondering also. Are we the only ones who didn't get the trees?
Couldn't fit the forest production in the Pageant.
what kind of guitar is that green one? it looks real slick and i want it.

Nothing wrong with me. I love them. Thank God. I was beginning to think something was wrong with me
@brenda @🤘🤘🎸 🌹
I saw the Sunday show and when I clicked on this video I was bummed out because I saw they played so many Being There tracks. But then I watched Monday and Nels kind of ruins it. He's a great guitar player for their new material but there's a reason very few Americana bands opt to have 5 minute experimental guitar solos. He's great, but so was Luciano Pavoratti. That doesn't mean he should be singing harmonies on "Box Full of Letters"
What a pity. Bad sound. Wilco, Best music.... This in good sound. Where i found it?
