just try. i though i would never be able to do the st.MP-b.HP into FK, but i can do it pretty consistently now. so never doubt yourself haha took me a couple of months but i was wrong about the timing and he helped me w the video

Just in my opinion, lots of pros already use shooty, but you could throw it in right before the "Leave a fancy comment below!" Like it's a 'quick tip' notification. During the video. The silly sonic boom intro always lets me know its a quality tutorial! :) (and it lets me know theres more guides. Theres too many guile guides that arent distinctive enough from each other so their quality is eh).

Not done successfully yet (wasn't sure was possible until now), but CA2, DR xx EX SB can be used just barely hit out of their Cr.Lk (or whatever normal they use) against players who try to stop your DR attacks. E.g., you DR xx St.hk (close) and Chun-Li stuffs it with Cr.Lk. You do the aforementioned instead and just short of he normal's distance and it will hit for 3k damage.
Yeah this probably could work as a hard read for something like that. I guess normal sonic boom in this way would put them in a punish counter-state so we can DR in and do some serious damage as well. But the one you wrote is actually legit to try, safe but cost bar.

I can do all of these consistently except the flash kick one. I can however do it with the patch trick.since you can drive rush cancel whiffed lights Charge-crlp, then enter parry ~up K with the same timing as stlk into flash kick Seems to use a lot of meter that way tho🤷🏾♂️

Negative edge does indeed make this MUCH easier, but effs up the rest of my combo routes, especially boom loop routes. I get OD boom every single time with NE on. 🥺 Oh well, this tech probably won't be incorporated, for me at least, but it is powerful. Like I said in one of your other vids, Dagger_G uses it to GREAT affect.
Yes this is why I don't use it as well, it messes up so many other things, at least for me. So I will probably never play with negative edge on. It's not worth it getting 2% more out of Guile for wrong inputs.

Haha, I wanted to be in Rookie so that I could grow as a player, properly. But no, I'm either getting DI'ed constantly, or flow-charted. Remember, I'm 4 months away from 50, it's a sad day for old man gamer 😂 Might take my Ryu and intentionally lose every placement game so they'll put me where I belong. But as it stands now, my poor Guile is literally stuck. It's weird too, I practice with the LVL 7 CPU, and win consistently. But when it's time to face off with actual people, I choke, after I'm blown away by how much they use DI.
@mattmaffett5879 the silver rank is a meme thing. I told people in the beginning I was silver because I wanted to be anonymous. But people caught me on this. I have never been close to silver. With DI you can see it as a way of Jump if you want. Faster though. But if they have high risk attitude you can just sit with your finger ready and punish them dead hard everytime. Put on DI practice in training for a än hour (boring) but gets you ready. And switch characters too see their animation DI faster. You can do this!

So here’s the thing, I can do DR into lvl 1/3 easily but I can’t do it into SB which is what I want to master. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I don’t use negative edge.
I have never tried it with chun-li really, I guess she could do it but I'm not sure. My channel is focused around Guile content only and I just made a short input with some other chars to show its possible, so I can't promise anything. thanks for the support!
In theory it is, but you need to press punch so precise. releasing the button is probably what makes it "hit" the correct timing most of the time. releasing the button seems to be a bit more unforgiving with timing these things.

Its all about speed. Nothing more really. So it should be possible to pull it of with a ps5 pad.

For the DR into lv1 do you hold the parry button throughout the rest of the inputs? I cant get it to come out.
For this one I release the buttons. You can see it more easily on the slo-mo at 01:35 that I release them when doing this.

Same here. Thats why I put on negative edge. I dont use it otherwise and wont do after this either. Its much easier to do DR SB with negative edge on.

I don't think so. 99% sure it is no DR in the sonic boom properties by this. have to check though.
