Superman III is not as good as the first two, but it has a lot of very good moments. It's not a disaster and Christopher Reeve is GOLD! and the best Superman of all time. Also the score is epic too💯
Clark fighting the synthetic kryptonite poisoning and merging back will Kal was the best scene of this movie. Reeve was such a terrific actor. He made you believe that Clark Kent and Kal-el were two different people. I loved Christopher Reeve's portrayal of Superman even when the movies were awful.

I really congratulate them for shooting so much practical flying. He looked great, and it really made me wish I could fly as a kid. Would've been a nightmare with all the cranes and wirework, but at least it actually looks real instead of the comparatively lazy vfx you see these days. If you retimed some of the shots, you'd still get the intensity of modern superhero flight scenes, but the landings and feet contact when he touches down looks graceful. It's how you'd take off and land if you were just too lazy to take the stairs lol. The movie had its flaws, but the actual filmaking took some risks. Also how good is the soundtrack when drunk Superman does his thing. Iconic.

The story was pretty crap, but by this time they had the flying effects down to an art. Check the takeoff at 0:10 that is just beautiful. Chris had Superman's physicality and body language down to perfection.

Superman III is not as good as the first two, but it has a lot of very good moments. It's not a disaster and Christopher Reeve is GOLD! and the best Superman of all time. Also the score is epic too💯
Superman III was atrocious. It trashed everything that Superman stood for, just for the sake of a few cheap laughs.
The movie is tricky, I do admit that. But just watch the Christopher Reeve scenes as Superman, both the good and evil Supes, that is still GOLD.

I really congratulate them for shooting so much practical flying. He looked great, and it really made me wish I could fly as a kid. Would've been a nightmare with all the cranes and wirework, but at least it actually looks real instead of the comparatively lazy vfx you see these days. If you retimed some of the shots, you'd still get the intensity of modern superhero flight scenes, but the landings and feet contact when he touches down looks graceful. It's how you'd take off and land if you were just too lazy to take the stairs lol. The movie had its flaws, but the actual filmaking took some risks. Also how good is the soundtrack when drunk Superman does his thing. Iconic.

The story was pretty crap, but by this time they had the flying effects down to an art. Check the takeoff at 0:10 that is just beautiful. Chris had Superman's physicality and body language down to perfection.
