I just heard this on the radio for the first time tonight after driving home from a friend’s house kinda sad after the Lions’ devastating loss. It immediately intrigued me and perked me up, and I’ll definitely start listening to more from Sierra!
Ewo things.... First, if i were a Lions fan (i live in Chicagoland, but i was still rooting for them since the fans suffered long enough and i can relate), i'd be livid over some of the decisions made---going for it on 4th when you're up 17 and within easy range of a FG? SMH.... IMO, that was the turning point in the game.... Second, just curious....where and what station did you hear this? Other than public/college radio that i stream in from Nashville, Knoxville and Asheville, i've NEVER heard her music on the radio, nor have i ever heard anything from other notable "Americana"/roots artists like Molly Tuttle or Billy Strings.

Back in the day, like 25+ years ago, XRT woulda been all over artists like this...back then, they played Nickel Creek, Bela Fleck and many more non-mainstream roots bands... About a year ago, they were giving Marcus King some airplay, and i heard Hemmert promote Molly Tuttle at Thalia Hall, but i have yet to hear them play any of her songs.... But now, other than SMF and sporadic listening in the car, i don't listen to them much anymore...how many times do i gotta listen to another Talking Heads song? PS-over the summer, i heard a Billy Strings song on WNUR (Northwestern's station), but that doesn't count since it's college radio...
@@krazycaseychannel2292 they play alternative stuff a lot now. I still wasn’t expecting something in the bluegrass/folk sphere, but they never would have done it if the song could be identified as purely country. It was a nice surprise!

@@22metzfanresearch a little more. No voice compares atm
@@22metzfanHer voice is far better than Molly’s. Her presence and overall talent as well. I like Molly, but….
@@22metzfanlove molly. Her set at hulaween in 2022 was one of the best musical performances I’ve ever seen. But Sierra is something special. Bluegrass is in an amazing place right now and i love it!
I love her aesthetic! Great song too I'll have to check out more of her music.
Check it all out! Older, newer, all amazing! She's incredible live, I do love her stripped down acoustic stuff too you can really hear her vocal power and range
Hell yes! Way to show them how it’s done. 👏👏👏
She brings me chills every time I hear her live, boy has she come a a longgg way 💖
She was amazing, last summer at Salmonfest in Alaska. What a great voice, & the guys are great in the band. Hope you come back to Alaska.
She is gonna be a huge star...Traditional country and folklore in the 21st century...amazing
You looked and sounded Beautiful! Loved your whole look. Great energy and an amazing introduction to those people who didn't already love you and your music. 🎉❤🎉❤
she's amazing, In every way, music, lyrics, looks, the way she costumes. Love her❤❤
She and the band are amazing. Such talent
Congrats to Jimmy Kimmel and his talent team for putting Sierra"the Real Deal" Ferrell on a national stage. I call her that 'cause thats how I describe her talent to people
Her genre versatility reminds me of Linda Ronstadt, with a rightsided lip curl that competes with a young Ellen Barkins smile in sexiness and uniqueness.
Good for you Sierra. Sounding better than ever.
seen her during her busking days! it was clear back then she had star power back then! What a true talent!
Her voice is magic. Love her so much.
Love the energy of this song. Spirited all the way through!
If this is your first time seeing Sierra then you ain't seen nothing yet. You're gonna fall in love with this little West Virginia sweetheart!!
She's electric
Been a fan since I saw her busking in Seattle a few years ago. Awesome talent!!
This was the 3rd time my wife and I have seen her live. Love to see her get the attention she deserves with the AMAZING voice of hers.
We’ve been following her for years, and now she’s finally blowing up! She’s a,aging live, better than her recorded albums. She never misses a note live, absolutely never!
Stopped to watch: her fashion, violin & cowboy hats. Can’t go wrong 🥰 Excellent downloaded to Apple
It's hard to believe this is her TV debut, considering how long I've been watching her. Love the freaky outfit!
Just moved to middle Tennessee and she’s about to be my first show at the Ryman. Can’t think of a better introduction than that
She's absolutely amazing all around. ❤️
Damn!! Never thought I’d see this. She’s about to blow up
Glad to see her get here she Is a great talent and wonderful human as I had the pleasure to meet her .
She is so friggin tallented!!! I cant wait to see her and the band live one day :-)
Sierra, you beautiful young and old soul. Wow. Always so lovely. You look amazing! Your hair, makeup, and costume tied together so damn well. The performance has me so excited for your next album!
I'm sorry I missed seeing Sierra Ferrell when she played in a small club in my area in 2022. It's always great seeing artists that sound even better live than on recordings.
Incredible! Sierra and the band deserve to be on TV every night of the week! True talent and real music!
been following her for a while now, she's so incredibly talented. can't wait for her new album!
I saw her last year in Asheville and she was amazing!! I’m going to see her again in Nashville!!
OLVIER. WHRE IS YOUR FLUFFY PINK COAT.
YALL CRUSHED IT!!!
😂🩷🌸🌺😭
Well that was just delightful!
@@krazycaseychannel2292 I actually also live in Chicagoland, and was rooting for them with friends for the same reason - I have family in Michigan as well
The coach really screwed the pooch on that one, agreed. And it was on 93.1 FM
@@eriktroske6405 Wait a minute...you heard this song on 'XRT?!?!?!? I'm truly shocked! Maybe there's hope for that station after all...
I love Sierra’s unique style. Looking forward to seeing her in a few weeks. She has certainly earned and deserves her place on the stage for all to see.
So happy for @SierraFerrell you killed it pure fire ! Can't wait to hear more !
I am awestruck. She is mesmerizing. I had never heard of her before, but she can SING! I love the look too, cannot take my eyes off of her as she belts it out. I know if she gets up this way I am going!!
Got to see her in Indy the other day. She sounds so much better live. Well deserved!
I knew she was going to get out there! Her voice is amazing and playing skill superb and both at the same time 🫶🏼
Yes! She is an amazing talent. Great to see her being shared with the world.
RUclips - Gems On VHS, we have been listening to these artist for years. Some of my favorites include Benjamin Tod, The Lost Dog Street Band, and The Hill Country Devil.
Love, love, love Sierra Ferrell!!
This whole album is divine. Real music, from real, honest musicians
So glad I saw her in a small club a couple of years ago, and happy for her that’s she’s come so far…..like her album says it’s a long time coming…she’s worked hard and long for this 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Wow, a star is born! I know she's been at it for some time, but from here, she will skyrocket!
