Thank you for showing the firmness. Other videos did not. MIne is still liquid after 10 hours but I followed directions in the book.

Hi! What type of milk did you use, and did you use a temperature gauge? Are you using a prepackaged yogurt culture or did you use leftover yogurt as a starter culture? We use 3% homogenized milk and I don’t bother with a temp gauge. I’m also using the Euro Cuisine yogurt culture and always keep it in the fridge until ready to use. I haven’t tried using any other milk or non-dairy milk. There are so many factors involved, I hope it doesn’t discourage you from making more attempts.

@@tarmach523 I used whole milk plain regular yogurt. It was grassfed though and that could be the reason. I will continue to try using the packaged cultures.
      Thanks for acknowledging.

Thank you so much for making this video!!! I just finished putting my first batch in the yogurt maker and found the instruction booklet very misleading. It says "SET the time reminder..." And then I watched the instructional video on the Eurocuisine youtube channel and the woman in the video actually seemed to be MOVING a little indicator!!! But there IS NO movable little indicator!!! As far as I can tell it's only a series of notches on the lid. This is a real mystery. Can you please confirm for me that there is no movable time indicator??? Is it that I just can't find it? Even though that would mean this airhead on the Eurocuisine channel somehow made a fake one. I don't get this, why go to the trouble of creating a fake movable time indicator, just state the truth as you did, it's just the printed numbers, nothing moves or can be "set".

Thank you for your comment. I do confirm it does not have a movable timer/indicator. I wonder if in the Eurocuisine channel may have featured a different appliance. I just make a note of the time I put the lid on after filling the jars and turned it on. 9 hours is all it takes for my batches to come out perfectly, for my preferred taste. The yogurt is firm and tart, delicious! Please feel free to refer to my video if you have anymore questions😊
