    • @christinagerlach5972
      @christinagerlach5972 6 месяцев назад +5

      For round 7 you are working into the 24 front loops from round 6, and you end up with 30 stitches because of the increases.
      For round 8 you are working into the 24 back loops from round 6 and only doing single crochets so it stays at 24 stitches.
      Hope that makes sense!

    Made a green one a blue one with Estako velvet yarn off Amazon. I couldn’t get the back loop/front loop situation happening to create that ridge on the shell for some reason. So I did an exterior single crochet on the outside after it was all said and done. Annnnnnd couldn’t get the legs crocheted into the loops so I jut secured them afterwards as well haha

    Okay I love how he turned out but I screamed at the fin attachment then didn't touch the project for 2 months before finishing it. Heres what I figured out for the fin direction: position the fin the way she shows in the final direction it should be in. Then flip it down towards you, hold the fin against the body, and make the stitch go through the fin then the body.

    Soooo I made this and while it’s cute I def had to do some stitching. I wouldn’t suggest as a beginner to it although it’s cute. It’s hard to crochet in the fins and especially the head. I would rather sow in. Also in the row after it’s very confusing as to how to do the decreases after sowing in the fins and head. I improvised for the last part and also somehow ended up with too many stitches? But thank you for the tutorial!!! My turtle is cute!!!

    Thank you so much for that tutorial. Its easy to follow!
    But I always end up getting a cone/tub instead of a mostly flat shell :( I tried it several times (also with other, but similar videos) but it always ends up the same way. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

    Hi!! I love your videos, thank you for being so kind to post your patterns, they are beautifully made! I was wonderinf if it would be okay if I create these items while using your pattern and sell them while crediting you for the pattern?

    It's a really cute pattern. It looked amazing until I had to attach the head. I kinda messed up after that, but the finished turtle still looks quite good.😊

    I did it, but the neck of the turtle was too long so I took off a row, and attaching the head was really hard. But it turned out cute!

      Not sure if you figured anything out yet, but the bigger the yarn weight/ hook size (mm) the bigger the project will be on the out come. Example: if you use 4 weight yarn with a 3.5mm hook the project will be smaller then hers.

    I'm sorry but I don't know whats happened but row 7 (for body + attachments) it has 30 stitches, but row 8 ends with 24 stitches...and row 9 starts with 24....how do we suddenly get rid of 6 stitches as your video makes it seem like there is only 1 or 2 extra?? Seems like a lot of stitches to forgot about?
    Just saying as it confused me quite a lot and have had to change your pattern to make it work?

    This turned out awesome even with me skipping the 18 stitches decrease towards the end. I somehow only had 12 stitches. I love it so much. thank you!!!
