Everchanging is from their first album:The Unraveling.Audience of one is from Appeal to Reason and Swing Life Away is from Siren Song of the Counter Culture.Audience of One is more recent, that is why people know the lyrics. Most "fans" know only the more recent songs. You ask a wannabe fan of Rise Against about one of their song, the first thing they'll say is Prayer of the refugee or Make it stop. None will say 401 kill, The Unraveling, Anywhere but here, Behind closed doors or Under the knife.
For me, a decade supporting fan of Rise Against, its kinda sad when I see that the fans know Audience of One more than Everchanging. RA fans, don't ever underestimate The Unraveling and Revolutions Per Minute. Those 2 albums are fucking masterpieces released on FAT records. To get to know RA better first start with those two albums and you'll see their maturation.
i swear. Everchanging feels like it was written describing the divorce and 10 year relationship that ended this year and im still going through it. It blows my mind how accurate it is. The first time i heard it- back in the early 2000s when i first discovered this band. Then i hear this version during the beginining of the end of it- and somehow , even though sad- it has helped me get through it
Everchanging -- this is my all time fav. song , it is so touching that I can't stop myself and I take my guitar and play it on and on and on and.......... just love it..
I agree completely; Revelutions Per Minute was probably one of the best albums i went out and bought, i say them back in 2009; they're fucking amazing live, it's nice to see another fan keeping the past RA alive! :3
Everchanging -The song, that you remember the love ! Audience of one -The song with memories about friends and good things ! Swing life away -The song, that you fight for love !
Jesus, just came here after 9 years to see if I could spot myself in the crowd and end up spotting (at 7:09) a close-up of some guy I later met at university! How small is this fucking world?
Dude, isn't the point of every new album that band gets new fans? I've never listened those older albums, but I will.. I've just recently heard about Rise Against on MTV 'cause in my country everything gets a little bit later than in other countries. And I'm that kind of new fans.. Respect to you and your loyalty towards Tim and guys :)
though disappointed they cut hero of war i'm glad they didn't cut some others because i missed this on saturday :( i've never heard some of these acoustic sets
I support the band from 2004 and RA is my fav. band. Tim is the best singer of the fucking world, but look at Brandon,Joe or Zach ! They are awesome and they need more respectation and fame !
@ringishpil Personally I enjoy Siren Song the most, but RPM is nearly perfect. The Unraveling has some amazing songs. Like....amazing. Alive and Well, Six Ways Til' Sunday, 401 Kill, 1000 Good Intentions, Reception Fades, Everchanging, Gethsemane...okay I'll stop now. :P But anyways, yea you're right those are some damn great albums, I wish newer fans (I've been a fan since around 2010 but I know all their stuff :D) would love these older songs as much as newer stuff!
@ohcrapitsandrew They're more of a rockband now, but check out their older stuff. Heaven Knows, Paper Wings, Sometimes Selling Out Is Giving Up, Six Ways 'Til Sunday. Those are punk and amazing songs. I much prefer them over the newer work, although I did enjoy Endgame.
Musically they have changed a ton. They're not even the same genre really. They still have the same great message though, and are getting to a lot more people than they used to now that they're not hardcore.
Cinder2k7 I agree I've only been into rise against a few weeks after a friend of mine introduced me but now I own all their albums and I love all of them but if I saw them live tomorrow I wouldn't be able to sing all their songs, there are a lot of bands in the world and sadly its taken me a long time to work my way to rise against!
Fuck that crowd. Rise Against didn't sell out, the fans who only know/listen to the popular shit sold them out. Props to the 2 people who were singing along to Everchanging.
Does anybody know what exact model of gibson that is?? Zachs looks like an old gibson j-160e. But what about Tim's? It's my dream acoustic and I can't seem to find it anywhere
It little bit pissed me off. They crowd doesn't know a word of Everchanging. But they know the words of Audience Of One .______. I mean, Everchanging is an amazing song. The acoustic version and the punk version. Both are awesome.
I hate how the crowd is pretty much dead during Everchanging. Its one of my favorites by them, and imo better than Audience of one and Swing (although they are great songs too!)
@RiseAgainstXIII lol I was thining a few seconds "rumors wtf is there a RA song I don't know yet...?" until I realized u mean rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggurated xDD
Cheeser it starts at the 12 fret with the b string than g onto d from there you will go to the 7th fret on the d string than 5th fret g string back to the 7th string on the b string than on string up same fret hope that helps
----SETLIST----
0:31 - Ever Changing

3 of my fav songs all done in wonderful acoustic
I was there and had no idea this had happened - this would have made the weekend!!
For me, a decade supporting fan of Rise Against, its kinda sad when I see that the fans know Audience of One more than Everchanging. Best Reading moment, and maybe best festival-moment ever
one of RA's best

Oh Tim loves it ;)
I know,I know...
but I feel the memories of friends and good things.
@RiseAgainstXIII yeh me too. last one I found was the nirvana cover which was really nice
Rise Against tiwce in one day.... IT WAS AWESOME. They have to make audience of one a regular.
Love the last album but praying like mad that they play classics like Swing Life Away, Paper Wings and Everchanging at Download this year :D
@ringishpil i completely agree with you. its pretty sad to see that no one in the crowd was singing along to everchanging
@ringishpil they were actually released on Fat Wreck Chords, but yeah, I agree.
@ringishpil Phat Wreck Chords, that's my only response.
Those two albums are fantastic though.
Everchanging -The song, that you remember the love !
Audience of one -The song with memories about friends and good things !
Swing life away -The song, that you fight for love !
Would give anything to hear this song live. I saw them live twice at Warped UK last year but they didn't play it
Jesus, just came here after 9 years to see if I could spot myself in the crowd and end up spotting (at 7:09) a close-up of some guy I later met at university! How small is this fucking world?
Todas as musicas lembram minha namorada
Zach’s reaction to the smoke machine is priceless.
'That's the closest thing to a solo that I do' 'TIM MCILRATH LADIES AND GENTLEMEN'
I saw them in November as they said
Dude, isn't the point of every new album that band gets new fans?

Tim: That's beautiful Zach!
Zach: Thank you Tim!

"We play in Rise Agianst." yeah Tim....we know who you are!! fuckin bad ass
I support the band from 2004 and RA is my fav. band. Tim is the best singer of the fucking world, but look at Brandon,Joe or Zach ! They are awesome and they need more respectation and fame !

John Grimm kaile is the man, 6 wild turkeys and he plays all night 👍🏼 ignite saved his life🎶👍 aka Kerry packer
i wish i knew this was happening. as much as i like offspring, i'd have killed to see rise against twice on both sets!
the first song that i hear of this band was paper wings, and then i download every album and now, i really love this band
@ringishpil Personally I enjoy Siren Song the most, but RPM is nearly perfect. The Unraveling has some amazing songs. Like....amazing. same
Musically they have changed a ton. They're not even the same genre really. They still have the same great message though, and are getting to a lot more people than they used to now that they're not hardcore.
RPM was the best of all the Rise Against albums
I got to play the guitar that Zach is using for this performance. It plays so nicely, it's unreal.
oh my god - Zach's boots...
It kills me that they didn't do this at Leeds Festival, damn you Reading!
So gutted I missed this ;_;
"That's beautiful zack."..."Thankyou Tim" lol
he sounds quality when he sings high :)
Yeah same, I had no idea this was even going on, saw em on the main stage, and wondered why they didn't do any acoustics >:(
when they last play in glasgow cause iv been waitin ages for them 2 come
Cinder2k7 I agree I've only been into rise against a few weeks after a friend of mine introduced me but now I own all their albums and I love all of them but if I saw them live tomorrow I wouldn't be able to sing all their songs, there are a lot of bands in the world and sadly its taken me a long time to work my way to rise against!
6:38 SPOILER ALERT ;)

@stjimmy95 I meant the acoustic version...
10th time watching this, fucking great!
Fuck that crowd. Rise Against didn't sell out, the fans who only know/listen to the popular shit sold them out. Props to the 2 people who were singing along to Everchanging.
Неужели я тут первый русскоговорящий! ^_^ Не знаю,что происходит, но поёт идеально!
не первый))
How could somebody push the Dislike button?!
It is don't exists for me on this page for me!
06:56 hey, it's the man covering RA songs on youtube using his SG! including tip the scales!
@NURDERSCF Survive? Acoustic?! I HAVE TO see that, now!
RISE AGAINST!!!
Awesome band but you already knew that.
Both are awesome.
three of my favorite songs! then again, what rise against song isn't my favorite?
They did it, just wasn't on this video. This is about a half of their act on this stage.
I would have to personally say Revolutions Per Minute is my favorite RA album. Not too keen on the most recent one.
swing life away
wau *-*
They also played acoustic versions of Survive and Hero of war but those songs were cut probably due to the curses used.
Fucking censoring.
I like Zach's rain boots
08:57 Tim and Zach, they're soo romantic
6:42 messed up haha aww, but still freakin awesome no complaints :P
I hate how the crowd is pretty much dead during Everchanging. Its one of my favorites by them, and imo better than Audience of one and Swing (although they are great songs too!)
@RiseAgainstXIII lol I was thining a few seconds "rumors wtf is there a RA song I don't know yet...?" until I realized u mean rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggurated xDD
@Cossfrack Half 6ish on the Friday. Looked liked a last-minute thing
yes it's the same! XD
I wondered why there was such a big crowd at BBC Introducing on Friday Afternoon
Does somebody know the tabs of Swing Life Away that Zac played ? Like the harmonic part
watch him do it...
Cheeser it starts at the 12 fret with the b string than g onto d from there you will go to the 7th fret on the d string than 5th fret g string back to the 7th string on the b string than on string up same fret hope that helps
Yeah, found out a year ago, but maybe someone else it will help, thanks
It is on songsterr's tabs.
@justiceinmurder1 love u 2 haha :D, did u get to see theese at reading?
