Fun fact: Disney wouldn’t allow Bill to say anything about killing kids, but they were somehow fine with Alex’s workaround of having “some children to make into corpses”
But later he says "I THINK IM GONNA KILL ONE OF THEM NOW JUST FOR THE HECK OF IT"
Just a few minutes later, Bill said that he was going to kill either Dipper or Mabel, so I don't know if Disney really cared.

Let’s be honest, this show was a freaking masterpiece. Thank you to Alex Hirsch on creating such an awesome series. One of the most satisfying finales in the cartoon history of television. An epic and intense finale we will never forget. This show was my childhood, and I still miss it. I wish we had gotten more episodes, including with Dipper and Pacifica together.

An amazing finale indeed.
But it's not over yet.
This finale was ultimate! Nothing could ever top it. It has tons of intense moments, hilarious scenes, a Megazord-style battle, and of course the ending will make you cry your eyes out. It truly is a great way to end the series.
Avatar's ending is better in terms of consistent quality.

One of the greatest finales I've ever seen. I love the robot house battle, the callbacks to previous episodes, the scene of defeating Bill in Stan's mind, and the bittersweet ending. It's all so good. Thanks for checking this out.

Loved how the intro and theme song of the show were corrupted! Best series finale of the decade!
I knew Pacifica’s dad had it coming but that was quite a shocker! Never thought it would be Bill that would give him his comeuppance.
This is the buildup we have been waiting for now and what a finale this series was.
So some interesting fun facts on the actors that guest starred in Weirdmageddon:
1. Verosika is voiced by Danielle Fishel best known as Topanga Lawrence-Matthews from _Boy Meets World_ and its sequel series _Girl Meets World_
2. 8 Ball and Teeth are voiced by Andy Merrill best known as Brak from _Space Ghost Coast to Coast, The Brak Show,_ and _Cartoon Planet_ and James on _Adventure Time._ Merrill also came back to reprise his role as Brak in an episode for Season 3 of _Jellystone._
3. Hectorgon is voiced by Patrick McHale who worked as a writer, Storboard artist on _Flapjack, Adventure Time_ and _Over the Garden Wall_ the latter of which he created. In addition, he served as a co-writer in _Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio._
4. The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monster was originally voiced by comedian Louis C.K., and Alex Hirsch based the design of the monster from Louis C.K. hence his casting. However, in November of 2017 following allegations to sexual harassment later airings have Louis voice replaced with Alex Hirsch.

4 Fun Facts for ya!
1. At the end of the regular theme song, they briefly show Bill Cipher's zodiac page from the journal. In the Weirdmageddon intro, they show the zodiac again, but Bill's torn out of the page, signaling that he's escaped.
2. The Bill Cipher statue shown after the credits was for a real-life event created by Hirsch called the "Cipher Hunt", where fans had to find clues around the world which would eventually have lead them to find the statue in Reedsport, Oregon, and win a few prizes, one of which being a mini Bill statue. The actual statue is now located at Confusion Hill, a roadside attraction in California.
3. The Journals are canonically NOT destroyed. Bill did burn them, but everything was restored when he was defeated, and so were the Journals, which was confirmed in the official "Journal 3" book.
4. They did an official graphic novel called "Lost Legends", that has additional stories for the show, before and after the ending. Someone dubbed it on RUclips, and it might be worth checking out.

Did the aliens created the anomalies of Gravity Falls or did the aliens attracted the anomalies to come to Gravity Falls?

also Bill's last words invokes a spell saying in backwards "A-X-O-L-O-T-L My time has come to burn! I invoke the ancient power that I may return!" as he becomes reincarnated somewhere else...
I recommend watching The Owl House to see what Bill Cipher possibly reincarnated into...

Yes the bill cypher statue is indeed real it was apart of a real life scavenger hunt with clues and everything and the goal was essentially to hunt down the location of the statue I can't quite remember what happened after that but I think if Im remembering right the person who found the statue first and sent a picture of themselves with it to Alex Hirsch won a prize I don't quite remember it all but it was an experience
Once we found the statue it ended up getting moved because of a land dispute lmao. It currently resides at the Trees of Mystery in Klamath, California!
18:40 Fun fact: One of those guys is voiced by the same guy who voices Linda Belcher on Bob's Burgers. So this is like a reunion episode with Mabel's VA who voices Louise. (My favorite Belcher)

In one of the Gravity Falls shorts, Dipper asks a sentient mailbox when the world will end. It responds 3012, which is 1000 years from when the story takes place.
So Time Baby comes back and causes the actual apocalypse. And it’s a testament to Alex Hirsch’s genius.
Also, when Dipper and Wendy are “real” they are played by the voice actors, Jason Ritter and Linda Cardellini! Linda also played Velma in the live action Scooby Doo movie!

Weirdmageddon is the most epic and saddest finale of Gravity Falls. Bill has caused chaos everywhere. Stan risked his life to save the world. This show really made me cry in the end

While it is kinda sad that this show only lasted for 2 seasons, it's nice that this show had a nice ending.
It was meant to go on for more seasons but Disney was being stingy about the run time
Got some news. Disney teases a gravity falls revival by talking to the creator of the series. He published a lot of books that talks about gravity falls but they also say it can turned into an animated series that will continue the story. People say that the show got cancelled by Disney but it’s not true. The show has ended but not cancelled.
This is my favorite show of all time BTW the book actually expand along on the plot of the series

There's a lot to say about the finale, but I'm just glad it ended here and no season 3 came after. It was a small journey just over the course of one summer, just like Dipper said that everything changes and we need to let go of the past we accepted Gravity Falls came to an end and time has come for new cartoons like Amphibia and The Owl House.
However, Stan's memory recovery was way too easy, but I guess that fits the tone of Disney traditional stories and fairy tales. Nevertheless, it was really sweet and touching.
Thank you, Alex Hirsh. Thank you for turning your boring summer memories in one of the most memorable adventures on TV screens.

Fun fact the creator of the show Alex Hirsch made a real life statue of bill cipher and had a treasure hunt to find the statue for one final mystery

Yeah, that Bill statue at the end is real. After this show ended, there was a massive Cipher hunt going on with fans having to figure out where said statue is.
It was eventually removed from where it was placed and stuck to a tree with someone stealing the hat, but it should still be out there.

Also! About that live action bill statue that you saw, after the show ended, creator Alex hirsch revealed to the fandom about the cipher hunt and that he had hidden an actual bill statue somewhere in the country. It took a few days but it was eventually found 😄

There are still new canon Gravity Falls adventures in books written by the creator, Alex Hirsch. I recommend reading Journal #3, and Gravity Falls: Lost Legends. And there's a new book for adults coming out this year, The Book of Bill. I also reccomend checking out the vinyl record.
Somehow, "I'm so sad it's ov--" followed by a Sopranos-style cutout is the perfect way to express the feeling that it's over.
