So far you are the only one I've seen on RUclips to use a car jack for this! I use this method for pallet deconstruction, I also use a jack under my router when it's fixed to its table for fine tuning.
I seen all they ways of busting pallets and the tools and what not. I though of the car jack idea but you beat me to it lol. I have to find the easiest way with riving and tearing as I have lots of back problems. Thanks Roger. I subscribed. Let's see what other useful vids you have
Wood splits because it is dry. If you spray the pallet with a water hose the damp wood will be softer and more flexible. And easier to separate without splitting.
Thank you Mr.K..hope you are well..I had my gallbladder out 10 days ago so am taking it easy at the moment...this came a week after 20 daily radiotherapy sessions at hospital...need to recover soon...I don't like sitting about ..😷🛌🤞🙏
Only seen the thumbnail and thought this is such a good idea this guy deserves playing his video on loop for a few hours 😅 Have like 10 pallets to break down meanwhile 😊
If u separate the centre nailed point first it reduces the tension in the board & 99.999 % of the time will prevent the board from cracking/ splitting (thank me later) 😉😉
Do the middle one first and the board won't split. Thanks for the idea very useful.

Very clever man. THANK YOU!!! ❤
That's a great idea Roger. My son used to work hard at tearing them apart. That would have good to know back then. Thanks for sharing and God bless.

Good idea. An accu drill would make it more comfortable. 👍
Thank you, I've never thought about this, I usually use a claw hammer and mallet

Fabulious idea.
very nice and easy. I love it. Thanks
I have been breaking pallets recently, and it crossed my mind to see if this could work. And vóila! It does.
Turn the pallet 90 degrees so that the three runners are horizontal instead of vertical. Then tap each row of blocks with a big hammer.
Goof idea! I will try that
Put an impact wrench on that bad boy - zip zap done!
Good idea.. if only I had one 😪
Can you do this with all car jacks or just this Mercedes one?
Don't know, but it must by a screw type.. not tried any others
Good video👍
Brilliant!
Nice job, I would use a screw gun to speed up.
Genius 👍
Brilliant
