I disagree. She just doesn't care for the big O. I've seen Barbra in other interviews, she's always caring and charming.
She had to be in the chair where Ellen usually sits. Because the right side of her face was highlighted. I'd call that Diva behavior. But at least she knows her own mind. Awkward because Ellen is far from that mind set.

She's insanely OCD about her appearance. Everytime she's on tv she must sit so her left side is forward facing. Check out how many night show hosts have sat in the guest chair while she had the desk so she could put her best face forward. She's ridiculous and her ego is ugly from any angle

Oprah is not worthy of interviewing Liz Taylor. I think Liz realized that.
To start with , and this is my own opinion on her, Oprah's problem is not being true to herself, therefore is not true to her viewers. Some viewers can see this others cannot because love is blind.
I have seen Oprah have celebrities on her show giving them lots of love and then talk badly about them to others. I had to eventually stop watching her shows because I wasn't blind to her fakeness any longer.

I never saw the Barbra interview. I only remembered a secondhand account from one of Kathy Griffin's stand up special on how angry Oprah was about it. I didn't think that the account was real, but seeing it here makes it so much funnier. Also, another suggestion for most awkward interviews of hers is when she interviewed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Seriously.

The problem is not with Oprah, it is with all of you expecting her to be perfect all the time and never make mistakes. She has made a lot and at times I think she has not been as empathetic as I also expected from her but heck she is just human, trying to live her best life and trying to make the world a little bit of a better place. Don’t despise her, despise yourself for not achieving as much as she has, and I am not talking monetary gain.
I used to admire her but now loath her after leaving Neverland documentary .

So I’m a recovering addict and lots of non addicts who would tell my I should read James Frey’s book when it was new. By the 5th page I knew it was 100% bullshit. It was very clear to me that this man knew nothing about addiction or recovery. James Frey’s book is an insult to all recovering addicts.
Her interview with Toni Braxton was bad given how critical she was of the singer.
