Conjunction to pili karvata hai na.......if F Plasmid help in conjunction than what is that help done by plasmid?

In conjugation pili just helps in attachment of two bacteria together, but the DNA transfer from one bacterium to another is through Plasmid.
Pili DNA transfer me koi help nahi karta.
