Very interesting. I've ridden Imogene Pass twice on my ADV bike. Once in each direction. I prefer Ouray to Telluride direction. Nice to see it from the perspective of a 4x4.
We do a lot of trip planning and off roading. We look for challenging overland trails where other are too afraid to go because of scratching their rigs. Our next trip is San Rafael Swell, UT. It would be cool to meet up with you. I have a 5 day trip planned. 11 rigs, 7 guaranteed. If your interested, I can send you my contact info. We go all over hitting trails.
Bummer about your power steering!! I've done this trip twice in rented jeeps (top off) both times from Ouray. Once in August after a low snow year and again in June in a big snow year. Actually, the June trip, it was the first day that they plowed and had opened the stretch through the two side areas on the Ouray side of Imogene Pass. The waterfalls and creeks were everywhere and were awesome. What a great way to spend a day!
It was disappointing having mechanical failure but this was definitely one of my favorite places that I’ve been to. I’m almost done with a Jeep build I started working on and want to take another trip there this summer.
@@adventureboundoverland9525 absolutely. We are just doing local stuff right now. But let’s get together and plan something amazing. This video looks like an epic trip bud. Great stuff. You should have thousands of followers!
I ran this over Labor Day weekend and I thought it would be a total sh*t show but the traffic wasn't bad at all...I was pleasantly surprised. I was so into the ride that I barely took any video so I will have to do it again. For anyone wanting to do this do Ophir pass first to get your feet wet, come into Telluride and then do Imogene Pass. It's awesome. How was sleeping at 11,000 feet? 😁
That’s awesome it wasn’t crowded. We must have passed by a good 40 plus vehicles coming at us along the way. It’s an awesome trail and the views can’t be beat. I would recommend it to anyone that’s interested.
My truck weight is 9,000 lbs and I air down to 18psi for off-road. I run non bead lock wheels and have never lost had the bead come off. So far anyway 🤣
@@adventureboundoverland9525 how are you running the AEV intake? Stock intake box? Awesome build man. Excited to find a channel running a 6.7! You need to do a walk around!
I have a S&B intake. The air box connects to the tube that goes in through the fender and the AEV connects directly to that. Yes, a walk around of both trucks is coming really soon!
Avocado is good for you dude! Highest potasium source, quadruples your salad vitamin absorption. Very cool video!
Lol! I hate Avocado 🤢
going there this august 2023!
It’s a beautiful place. One of my favorites
What a great exploration!
Nice video and great setup on the rigs. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!

Thank You!
There’s a road right on the way into Idaho Springs along the mountains area called omg road. That’s what that road reminded me of.
Awesome video Gregg!! Just found your channel and subbed!!
Thank You!!!
I'm loving that second gen! Who makes the front bumper?
It’s my buddy’s truck. I’m pretty sure it’s made by a company called Move.
Cooking at 11.5 thousand feet must be a real trip. I had enough trouble in vail at 8 thousand feet cooking. Lol

Sleeping and hanging out at 11,000 feet worked out ok 👌🏻
We too did Ophir-Imogene ruclips.net/video/n7Kf90VnB4/видео.html. Makes for a long day.
I’ll be going back to do Ophir.
My first time on that trail was 1970
If you hang out on top airplanes fly over to telluride
That would be awesome to see planes flybover
Good stuff, like the full size rig videos. Curious what you air those tires down to?

What brand cargo box you have on your roof rack?
how long is the ride trip
Sick set up… who makes your roof rack?
Thank you! The roof rack is the KC M Rack with Gravity Pro 6 light bar.
Dude that toolbox firepit is awesome. Is that DIY or manufactured?? If DIY any videos or anything on it?
That is DIY. The guy in the second gen ram goes by G and he made it. No video on the build but might be one coming
@@adventureboundoverland9525 that would be sweet. I'd love to make one myself!
What suspension are these Two trucks running? Are they both stock?
Both Trucks are running Carli suspension systems.
What turbo set up are you running on the 4th gen?
Stock turbo but deleted with 5” straight pipe.

What suspension and tires on these vehicles?
Both have Carli suspension with 37” tires.
Why do you call it overland when all your doing is car camping?
It is Eye' mo gene not em mo gene.
Nice setup but those trucks are HUGE! Imogene twice this summer - search “NoGas Ride Alongs”
Thank you. I’ll check it out
