Prince William presents former rugby players Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield with CBEs

  • The Prince of Wales was in Leeds on Thursday to meet with fomer rugby players Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield at the city's Emerald Headingley Stadium.
    The royal visit was to congratulate the pair on their work raising awareness of, and funds to fight, Motor Neurone Disease.
    Sinfield and Burrow, who were Leeds Rhinos team-mates during their rugby league careers, were made CBEs in the New Year Honours List for services to MND awareness.
    The duo have raised more than £15 million since Burrow was diagnosed with MND, an incurable and life-limiting condition, in December 2019.
