Railroad Crossing | Banister Ln, Austin, TX (Video 2)

Was just getting ready to drive home from a job interview when I was notified of a southbound MFWSA coming into Downtown Austin. Sure enough, I pulled off at the Banister Lane crossing and found the nearby northward intermediate signal to be lit red. Not too much later, the MFWSA came through with two AC45CCTEs and an AC4400CW-CTE in the lead. The three motors were giving it all they had to get this train up the steep grade out of the Colorado River valley. I sure do miss seeing this train coming down the Austin Sub.
Expectedly, nothing has changed at this crossing since I was last here.

If I remember correctly the last time I was in Austin aboard Amtrak Texas Eagle I remember downtown Austin still being a horn zone back in 2023 and I knew it was a matter of time before it would eventually become a 24 hour quiet zone

Did UP MFWSA get rerouted off of the Austin Sub nearly a year and a half after you shot the train
