Thanks for showcasing our martial arts. Makes me proud that other nationalities appreciates a part of our culture. Mabuhay.
Hey just to let you know there has been a great interest in the United States in the last few years in Kali😀👍
It makes me sad coz it seems there are more foreigners who practice fma than filipinos
Kali is one our best fma that we inherit from our ancestor. Lapu2 and sultan kudarat are ki enthusiast
I have to say I greatly appreciate this guy. Especially being that he comes from a system unfortunately known for its “tribalism” and infighting, he stays clear of the gossip, and is focused on communicating the art (which he does very effectively). DO NOT listen to anyone who talks trash about him, he’s the real deal. Definitely going to look him up when this whole look down is over.
This guy is a great teacher. He really simplifies the technique.
One of the best teachers on RUclips, I'm saving money for the courses. Thank You for those free beginner lessons, really appreciate.
I learned this in the Philippines. It's nice to see a video to help me recall my Arnis training

Thanks to your other video on the single and double weave I'm now able to slowly flow between single double weave into heaven six, much love from london uk :)
Usual quality Paul, thanks a lot for your dedication and passion to the arts, always inspiring to watch, keep up the good work, thank you
You explain the moves very well. I used to study Kali years ago. I forgot a lot of it. I'm going to work on these again!
I learned double sinawali in school when i was 3rd year hs. I just never thought that this will be recognize by other country for some form of martial arts or sports.
Coz i just learned it from my p.e teacher in school. 😅
Brings back so many memories from my younger days. Thank you!
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS AVAILABLE ,GOOD FOR SECURITY WORK. VERY EFFECTIVE. WILL KEEP WATCHING
These techniques are gold
Great instruction U make it easier to learn complex patterns by breaking it down Appreciate it Keep it coming Paul Thumbs up
Nice!!! I also studied arnis and double sticks. But in street fighting the common fights are karate, boxing, knife duel and hand gun duel. In our place in Mindanao, one must be expert or else you can't go home.
From Philippines here, I LOVE YOUR VIDS! Slowly learning the basics through your vids, recalling the old days MORE POWER TO THIS CHANNEL
Awesome! I just mastered the three of these in the park and am now trying to put them all together in that carenza. Thanks for all your content!
You are a great teacher!
Fantastic as always!
I liked this explanation. Now I can use my sinawali skill at three levels. And it's reasonably legal, best of all.
Excellent Tutorial. Thank you
Man you make it look so easy! Love yours videos.
Paul, many thanks for another one of your excellent and informative videos. Paul, I really enjoy practicing Kali and how you are able to logically integrate the didactical teachings of Kali as you parallel those teachings with the clinical aspect thru " Drills / Hand to Hand Combat / Weapons Training " in a real time scenario of workouts that you instill in me. Paul, please keep them coming along.
always a pleasure to view excellent instruction from Paul Ingram and Kali center.
GREAT
Nice tutorial. Have just started Kali about a month ago, it's pretty helpful to get some more knowledge in when not training at the gym that day. Subscribed ^^
Loving these techniques
Thanks Kali Center
I absolutely love this. 😁 Thank you all over at Kali Center for another amazing video.
YEAH IT TRIGGER ME TO SHOW MY KNOWLEDGE IN ARNIS
Always well done.
Really nice teaching
Love your videos man! Covers everything nicely.
Thank you for Explaining in an easy concept.
Keep the good teaching, good job
Your videos are awesome. I have been learning from you and wish I could attend a live class. Love your videos. Thanks again

Super helpful thanks!
Looking to get into this soon. This helps a lot. Thanks
Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️
Good teacher
Very nice tutorial thank you very much sir.
Blew my mind a while back when i realized that heaven six translates to parry -> salute -> trap and hammer fist -> cross in the empty hands
YEAH THATS RIGHT BOSS
I never thought of the #2 strike as the salute until you mentioned it, so thanks very much! I’ll be re examining my drills with that in mind tonight.
GREAT VIDEO !
Much appreciated brother
Thank you master 🥋
Very nice, thanks for the vid!
awesome, thank you
Excellent tutorial!
🙏🏻
Thank you for posting your video very detailed and easy to follow 👍 I meant to say easy to follow because I used to trained in karate and that helps to learn more about different styles of martial arts 🙏
Love your videos. ❤
Thank you
Excelente video saludos desde Argentina
Thank you, reminds me of my favorite character from D&D, Drizzt Do'Urden who wields double scimitars. Very informative with easy to learn steps, practice each one ten thousand times for muscle memory
Hey drizzle fan. Yes, he never had to practice with sticks because rattan did not grow in the Underdark caves.
Thats deadly and stick you can bring it anywhere...amazing
Thanks!
Thats was great! Thanks!!
Wow that is cool as chairman I never have seen that before I really like that ribbon that you got going keep up the good work
One common phrase in firearms training applies here, too. "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast."
WOW GREAT
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Basics are the best if you are a expert at basics you can pick up anything
I like that sinawali...I want to learn more.
Thank you so much sir
Most welcome
Good tech ❤
Good video
Nice.... thanks
Sad to see that a foreigner is promoting our art but still respect this guys!
Why sad? The art doesn't recognize borders...it works anywhere.
Not sad but a good thing. Pinagmamalaki nga niya ang turong pilipino.
Sad because most of the masters in Arnis are abroad.
Here the Filipino Martial Arts are declining.
THANKS
Idol, new subscribers thanks buddy.
Awesome. I can’t find a better way to say it
wow i learned this in a jiff thanks
ty vm ♥
knitting patterns...Nice
Nice
Excellent, thank you. Where can I locate some canes to practice with? What would also be nice would be to film your footwork as you're swinging.
I love how Guru Dan Inosanto uses two red sticks to fight Bruce Lee and his two friends in Game Of Death.
YEAH THAT'S A REAL FIGHT
they used colored strips on the stick for ppl watching to see stick movement.... same used by the this Guro
@@TENETMARTIALART yes it is. One of the classiest fight ever by Bruce Lee and Dan Inosanto
Good
Excellent demo and teaching. Although I cannot carry bo staff or sticks or chuks, I carry a very heavy thick leather belt with extra heavy buckle. I would appreciate if you could put some training material specifically with leather belt movements and defensive techniques. All the best :)
Thank you for the video. Is there a standard weight, length, and source of material that you prefer??
Are there variations for various training??
I am a student of GMST Leo Gaje jr. and TW Mcgrath and we call heaven six 'upper eight'. If you do upper eight smoothly you become a smooth upper eighter
The filipino martial arts...astig!!!🇵🇭
Hey Paul, please move to Ventura California, I need your help!!!!!!!!!!!
double sinawali...😎😎
wow,...mantap bosku
Good job. A few mistakes but you are better at teaching this than me.
Interesting...looks like, from what I learned, double sinawali from right side, triple sinawali from the left.. I like the different point of view
Great video! Question...do you know the tricillio?
I would love to see some mock fights with batons, maybe sawali against kendo. But definitely I would pay to see it against makulele, a Brazilian fight practiced with machetes, similar or part of capoeira.
Me too! You should definitely mock some up and upload your videos to RUclips! Thanks in advance 🙏🏼👍🏼
Where did you learn this arnis. Who is your teacher. Your so good, like it, sir.
Arnis was originated in the Philippines and even the KALI martial arts. Try to search for it on Google just for you to know more. Thanks
@@arwinbartolay309 thanks sir
Mega🎉🤘
Awsom...... is this pekiti
my work out was perfect
LOVE the video!!! what do you mean by broken two?
i think that you hit a two but dont move through but stop midways where you would hit your target.
Hi Sifu I would like purchase your DVDs.
basic sinawali pls do it
I am interested
You are good thanks for patronizing our Philippine martial arts??? This martial arts exercise good for the body if you exercise this your age until 100 years old???
In the philippines... Does are called "arnis"
I know it's an older vid.. but what do the "broken two" "fluid one" "fluid two" mean?
So the Arnis Philippines martial arts is now called Kali?
So this what Nightwing does with his time off he's an instructor😄😄
Wow. Just think if Neil Pert would have gotten ahold of these sticks .. ?
