I realized the similarities to one in this song when I first discovered it so I googled it turns and justice for all came out two years after this album
One came out two years after this Dark Angel song. This song and album was 1986. This short-lived band is great, if you like this one Highly recommend Older than Time itself , and Agony.
Bongo like Bongo like !!!! Workout program good one hhhhhhha Yes the local library had a copy but it was rented out and never returned, the person John Smith owes $1700us in back fees hhhhha
This guy's got a good ear to notice the similarities with Metallica's one song...And for the record this was 1986 two years before Metallica recorded one
It was hard to find a DA reaction. Let's get serious; more heavy stuff. Perhaps Infernäl Mäjesty - None Shall Defy ... think that's 80s (you can understand the singing)
Never heard of them. You have better ears than I.... couldn’t understand the lyrics. I liked the speed. Didn’t like the nonstop buzz of undistinguishable instrumentals.... sounded like TV static. Thumbs down for me! 💥
Me a metalhead: this one is still too young my brothers... He has yet to embrace the sheer Power that is 80s underground thrash metal Other metalheads: "nods in agreement"
Together with Reign in blood (Slayer) and Master of puppets (metallica) it is one of the best trash-album of the mid-eighties. At that time it was a hell of an album and the sound is just right for me.
@@MrGrimm-eo5lc *nods in agreement* no but for real though, bands like dark angel, possessed (I’m in the thrash camp for the record. Not a death metal band imo), cryptic slaughter, and kreator (as well as cancer depending on who you ask) were all on the cutting edge of what thrash could be in terms of intensity back in the day. Dark Angel were really only a few steps away from being a bonafide death metal band tbh really not easy listening for newcomers to the genre lol

They are working on a new record 31 years later. Thats why Gene Hoglan left Testament.
That screams at the end is one of the heaviest screams I’ve ever heard
It is !!!! Having a dedicated vocalist really opens the door for that other guitar however James did a pretty frkn good job but not everyone is james
The riffs and arrangement on their next 2 albums are much more complexed if you are into prog. Its on another level in musicianship.
^^^
He’s right you know
Time does not heal is an absolutely nutty album
7:06 this part made me chuckle because the drummer was overweight 😆
Great reaction!
Ha! I guess there are always the exceptions. Thanks for your comment. Rock on!

You should react to perish in flames or merciless death
Coffee metal as I like to call it! I'll play some thrash on my way to work. By the time I get there I'm ready for whatever crap!!!
I love your commentary as well... Funny stuff with the workout thing
Dark Fucking Angel!!!!
Wrong metallica ripped them off!!
True to the bone thrash

Nailed it, Discerning ear. DA has groove, a lot of people don't catch that.
You should check out Psychosexuality
An ancient inherited shame
Take it from the 80s thrasher... this was the best thrash album hands down.
Ummmm, check your years bro, lol
metallica are rip-offs!!!

The sound quality was much much much better in my headphones compared to on my phone. Not sure why.
