    The way that locking pin thay you took off with the flat head comes off so easy on yours has me jealous lol mines is a b**** to come off

      arny gtz if in uk, you can easy find some online, or find approved makita dealer, and order with them, simples

    Thanx a ton for the video. Really helped. BTW, I picked up my parts from Ereplacementparts.com . They all worked great. The retaining clip is now a standard circlip vs the original spiral type.

      Glad to help! Quick one, they did update retaining clip, but with circlip, the collar needs to be updated as well, only differen is that new type collar is black, and has wider cut out for thicker circlip

    Dear god, I am at my wits end with this. I have ordered the parts needed and went through the reassembly process. I have got to the final stages, but something is going wrong and no matter what I try I have no luck. Thanks for the video, but I have decided not to waste any more time on this as it is just pissing me off!
