Service oil reset on Ford Transit MK8 2.0 (EURO6), please note service reset method (throttle and brake at the same time for 10-20 seconds) like it was before on the same shape van but EURO5 (2.2) engine, won't work. Must be done this way, even though diagnostic system still says to do it old way. Hope that'll help!

    • @Gandrylas
      @Gandrylas Год назад

      Green, Yellow one flutters a bit on lower rpm and after some time EML light(check engine) comes on

    • @rasmus.schipai
      @rasmus.schipai Год назад

      @@Gandrylas hmm, ok, the weird thing is that on forge's website the rated pressure for the yellow one is 20psi which matches the turbo's pressure from stock astra, I'm also running the green one but sometimes it feels like it's too "loose", ig I have to try out myself, thx for your response as well.

    • @Gandrylas
      @Gandrylas Год назад

      @@rasmus.schipai it is bit more complicates with more stuff, website rates the spring for 20 psi (1.4 bar), all good, j vxr has boost by gear stuff in its brain, which is 0.8 in first gear, 09 in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 1.0 bar in 6th, which makes the green spring to work with oem well, but yellow one needs tuner work to it. i removed after a month or so coz proper cold intake filter and pipe made way nicer sound, and a standard recirc does good enough work anyway

Thanks for the video, but I have decided not to waste any more time on this as it is just pissing me off!

      Glad to help! Quick one, they did update retaining clip, but with circlip, the collar needs to be updated as well, only differen is that new type collar is black, and has wider cut out for thicker circlip

      Matthew Ellis ended up getting a donor with good body and no interior, just built one out of two, i had new sills and rear arches ready to go in this one, but it was nowhere to weld them on, inner sills were gone as well. Same as metal towards chasis rails, wasnt worth to anything to it

    Why do MX5's rust so bad?

    • @TheRoybeasley
      @TheRoybeasley 5 лет назад

      1. Little or no protection applied at the factory. 2. Poor design - has rust/moisture traps built-in - especially Mk2 cars. 3. Cars often left to stand in less than ideal (i.e. damp, still environment) conditions for several months every year. (Also bear in mind any Mk1 or Mk2 MX-5 will be 15-30 years old!) These are not new issues, or unique to the MX-5 - ask anyone who owned a British built car in the 1960s/70s/80s

    HELP!ll, My JR30 does not float. It dove into a fishing pond while I was trimming branches above. It was not operating however it was completely submerged for about 2 mins. Saw was unplugged and dried with air, shaking and twirling. Then WDed from exterior. After a few days it was plugged in and works however does not sound right. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

      Walt Mlynarski i think you might have rust issues inside, where on this video bottom is opened, you need to open top bit, only 4 screws, clean inside and regrease, hope this helps

    Which one is better, this or Bosch GSA 1300 PCE ?

    • @Gandrylas
      @Gandrylas 6 лет назад

      Cyrus no idea, never tried other one, i think best idea to go by price, if you need it for just ocasional jobs, just get a cheap one, will do the job, but if you use it a lot, then do your own research. These being used around 6 hours a day, by personnel that do not really care avout them, and they need repairs at least once a week

    • @techguy666
      @techguy666 6 лет назад

      Thanks for the reply, they are actually the same price here in the uk. The Bosch unit is lighter but less powerful at 1300w, the Makita is 1500w, also it has clutch, which I assume makes it safer to use on thick materials.

    It is a little bit of a pain. The intake pipe needs to go out, and then theres just enough space to get your hand in there, its only 3 10mm bolts holding it

  • @Gandrylas
    @Gandrylas 7 лет назад

    Glad it helped, it is sort of manufacturing issue, i have 100 of these to work with dayly, and most of the times it slips is litterally in couple of first days, on some not all, depends on the batch i guess. Another quick tip, always blow out the blade clamp, best one is after each use blow air or some wd40 into where the blade goes, and helps to prevent blade spitting. Any other issues pet me know ill make video regarding your issue Cheers

    That helped me out great, found a lot of grease on the clutch and outer housing/lid.. Degreased that except for the gears underneath of course. It's a beast now :) . To me it's an assembly error, the outer housing has a sealed bearing, that grease cannot enter ..
